I think that one very good way to determine that value of an idea is to look those that oppose it.
When you have all of Holywood and it's perverted narcissists, social parasites like BLM and corporate media all agreeing that something is bad...then it is probably exactly the opposite of bad.
And the same goes for things that they say are good.
The problem is what is the real agenda by politicians and others that come up with ideas that is used for brainwashing purposes? One can be assured it is of no use or advantage to the ordinary people they despise - but only in their own self-interest. They claim that ancient kings were a vice oppressing the ordinary people - but that vice is the real objective they want to achieve, The Chinese emperors was often bad oppressors - but the present Chinese Communist "Emporers" have modern armaments , communication and infrastructure means to oppress people ten times more viciously than the old emperors ever achieved. The Chinese Communists managed to murder an estimated 75 million people.
The Russian Tsars were oppressive - but they did never murder 52 million people like the Communists "Tzars" did.

They got a lie from a source and went all out to claim that it was true, They kept on with the lie and so did your much-admired China Joe. The Pentagon denied it ever happened and the propaganda arm of the CIA - wo initiated the Russian Hoax - claimed the opposite.
China Joe used that lie to slap sanctions on Russia and further embarrass himself in the process, The EU countries also know it was a lie spread by the New York Tomes and the Washington Post - together with the China-controlled CNN and all the Leftist-supporting other tv channels.
