One wonders whether State Capture in the USA happened under the Obama Government. Ot certainly looks like it and that the Obama Administration was clearly involved. There are for instance from an economic perspective -
* the sale of 20% of the strategic uranium reserve to Russia and the resultant payment of $145 million by the Russians to the Clinton Foundation – without any real indication who asides the Clintons benefited from that payment; and
* the threatened cancellation by Biden of aid to the tune of $1 billion if the Ukraine did not play along with firing the Prosecutor who was involved investigating Biden’s son for money laundering.
However, the main topic was involvement of the legal Government structures in an apparent attempt to manipulate the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. Rogue elements in the FBi, the Justice Department and the state Department were used to malign Trump through the Steele Dossier that was used to manipulate the legal system and create the opportunity to spy on the campaign of Trump.
Obama and Clinton – who paid for the dossier – must have known it was hogwash and in fact was the result of conniving with the Ukraine to get and England to get the false image created that Trump was Putin’s candidate to succeed Obama.
The whole thing stinks of state capture on a major basis and I am afraid that Trump needs top consult with that expert in State Capture – our very own lady Madontsela to get to the bottom of it. She certainly knows how to get to the bottom of state crookery and I think it would take her a few days only to get to the bottom of the crookery involved.
Bearing in mind what is really going on I think the USA needs a proper Public Protector as badly as we do. The present one in SA is disaster though.
