Straw poll has Trump way in the lead….

The poll conducted at the Conservative Party Action Conference has Trump at 59% with the nearest competitor Ron DeSantis at 28%. And the law suits against Trump appear to be losing traction. It would seem likely The Donald will be the presidential candidate once more. These things tend to go to the biggest name brand.
That said DeSantis has done a fine job in Florida. Is he ready for the big stage? That’s hard to say. Perhaps a ticket with DeSantis as the VP might be strongest, but these men are now increasingly tense competitors….that may make a joint ticket hard to accomplish.
