Stunning 750000 new Private Sector jobs in September

Under the Trump/Mnuchin economic leadership it’s taken 4 months to get back from a Covid induced 15% unemployment rate.....to a current 8%. 

It took Obama/Biden 34 months between 2009 to  January 2012 to get the unemployment rate down from a high of 10% to 8.4%.

What Trump/Mnuchin have achieved in mitigating the virus is epic....perhaps the most successful government economic intervention ever. Yet you won’t read one word about this in the mainstream media. 

One could sense Trump’s frustration with this tilted playing field in the debate.....Chris Wallace another swamp creature did his best to help Biden. The club is impressive, they all know what’s required of them.

But the numbers tell the story, the USA was very very lucky having the current economic team in place when the virus hit. They have done a stellar job.

Let’s not go beyond your first sentence.....how did America force people back to work exactly?

I've plotted the stats for Cape Town from March till a month and a half ago and the different stages of lockdown had absolutely no significant influence on the data...but numbers is not for everyone I suppose...handy if you want to fool some people though...

The areas in the US with the strictes lockdowns were hit the hardest.

The economic situation is not even remotely comparable between the situation caused by the pandemic and the economic situation between 2009-2012.

The pandemic caused a sudden massive rise in unemployment in the US, but a huge number of these jobs losses where temporary and would always comeback as soon the restrictions where ease/lifted. Its a unique situation does that doesn't apply to 2009-2012.

You could argue if you wanted that Trump opening the economy back up as soon as he did likely resulted in more jobs coming back sooner than if the Democrats where in charge, but I don't believe you can just look at the handling of the pandemic purely from an economic prism you have to factor in the reason there was the restrictions in the first place, to preserve human life, you have to weigh the pro's and cons to the  public health and the economy, not just one or the other . Perhaps Donald Trump brought back 100,000-300,0000 thousand more jobs quicker than a Democrat administration would of and prevented thousands of job losses becoming permanent losses, perhaps a Democrat administration would have preserved 10,000-30,000 more lives and  perhaps they would have been able to get the pandemic under greater control by keeping restrictions in place for longer and thus being able to get the economy fully up and running quicker and in the long term lessen the economic damage of the pandemic to a greater degree.

Its just bizarre praising praising job growth when the job losses from the pandemic are still well in excess of the jobs recovered.

You wouldn't read that in the mainstream media because its not true. Check around, there is a number of countries who's economies have held better than America's.

I think its going be a few years after the pandemic is over before we really know what countries handled it well and what countries didn't. The pandemic is still ongoing and there will be ups and downs.

Trump's carry on during the debate where a demeaning to the office of the President. I'd be embarrassed to have that man as the political leader of my country. The funny thing about him interrupting Biden so much is that he didn't give Biden enough rope to hang himself. Most pundits are calling it a narrow win for Biden but few people will remember it for anything more than it being a disgrace to democracy.

That's deaths...you said death rates....and the only death rate to compare would be the deaths per total population...any other comparison would be pointless due to the unreasonable variations in sampling....so stop bullshitting.

These idiots like sharktwit obviously missed the article showing that had the USA adopted the WHO  guidelines for counting Chinese Virus deaths like other countries did the death total would be 86, 000.

The numbskulls pay no attention to the big over counting problem. 

They take no note of the fact that countries using hydroxychloroquine have a 75% death rate. Neither do they factor in the huge death rate of old age home folk (estimated at one point as being as high as 43%) caused largely by 4 genocidal demonrat governors ORDERING  infected people back to the old age homes.

The fatality rate in the USA  has been reduced by 85%. Trump and his team have done a fantastic job.

The total deaths are way overstated. . But even if you take this fake figure as real the deaths per million people is better than many EU countries. 

Had China Joe been president the deaths would have reached 2 million. 

The guy on Bidens team fighting H1NI says they didn't have a clue what they were doing. When has this senile, corrupt sellout ever been good for America. NEVER!

BS, you were comparing total deaths OUT of context to deliberately skew the actual facts...you slant the facts like a true politician...why? You don't want to accept the actual facts. 

You can compare the death rates per pop, the infection rates per pop or the deaths per infection. Those are all legitimate comparisons... total deaths are not a valid way  of comparing effectiveness.

But doing that ignores the culture and lifestyles in various countries. The US is the most mobile country on the planet, people crossing the continent and traveling huge distances to work and play. The US is also a free environment.....that makes it harder to impose disciplines, but it also means you get Apple,  Google and Tesla.

And the truth is this is a big city disease...and I’m guessing over 85% of deaths have occurred in Democratic counties....it was higher in Florida, a supposed Republican state but the disease attacked areas like Miami which are controlled by Democratic mayors,

As for the economic recovery....the two recessions are comparable. In fact the Great Recession was easier to handle because you weren’t fighting an elusive disease, it was rooted in financial institutions. Allowing Lehman to go under was a huge mistake perpetrated by Bush but the subsequent mistakes under Obama, worsened the crunch. Obama never had a financial clue and followed far too conservative a policy....hence the slowest recovery ever.

Trump does get it and forced through radical stimulus out of the box....hence the best recovery from an unemployment trough we have seen.

Just for the record. The latest Economist  projections show the following GNP projections for 2020:

1 China plus 2%

2 USA minus 3.5%

3 Euro Zone minus 8%

4 UK > minus 10%.

The standard response to that is lives are more important than money. Sure...but the trade off with money is made all the time....we don’t throw infinite resources at saving lives.

So when the USA has outperformed Europe to the tune of 4.5% of GDP or roughly a $ 1 Trillion....it’s noteworthy. And one has to ask what Europe has gained....some lives it would appear based on deaths per million pop. But the US is more likely to declare a death Covid related....and is testing at a much higher rate than Europe.

If you look at excess deaths, the classical way of measuring epidemics the US is higher than Europe....17% vs12.4%. But the 10 lowest European numbers include Latvia, Finland, Slovenia, Estonia, Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania. The US is better than much of Western Europe and only Germany is markedly better.

So are those notional lives even real. I have my doubts. What is clear is the US economy has done massively better than Europe.

Another 1.4M american filed initial claims for unemployment benefits in the week ending September 26, including claims through states and the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program.

The American Justice system has done nothing but produced criminal lawyers, protection for corrupt politicians to make false claims on the Senate and Congress floors without any form of censure or accountability and to enrich themselves.

Biden is reported to be worth over $12 million for being in Congress/ Senate for 47 years and earning 200 grand approximately a year for doing "SHIT". This works out to $9.4 million if he saved every dime he earned.

His son is worth millions after being tossed out of the Navy for drug use, marries his deceased's brothers wife, fathers a child with a stripper, and is hired as an executive by a Ukraine oil company and raises over $1.5 Billion dollars (for his company) from a Chinese company while on an official trip with VP Bidden to China.

Biden's brother was awarded a $6 Billion dollar contract by the Obama/Biden click for restoration work and house replacement to a Caribbean island after a storm.

It simple terms it does not work as the original fathers planned.

Corruption and criminal activity are out of hand and the honest common working families are burdened with the outcome of all this criminal activity.
