My word is this a massive blow to the vaccination brigade.
The Amish are practically unvaccinated. They therefore can be compared to the vaccinated in America.
The results are stunning not only regarding Covid!

What can he say. The Amish ignored lockdowns, masking, social distancing and didn't take the jabs. Yet they had 90 times less deaths than the rest of America.
Further their kids have not been vaccinated against anything. Look how they are doing. They are far, far healthier than the rest of America.
This must be investigated further for sure!
My guess is they just lost track of some of the Amish. After all they have an average of 7 children per family..hahaha.
But more seriously this is a totally flawed conclusion. There are many people out there who have never had Covid….the death rate from Covid for those people is remarkably low.
So to have any valid conclusions we would have to examine the death rate for those who have contracted the disease. And even then this is a unique group with…er…a narrow gene pool, and with group social distancing much different to the rest of society.
My recommendation is watch the movie Witness, with Harrison Ford investigating the Amish, to understand just how isolated these chappies are.
AJ it's isolation is it. But isolation has never stopped an airborne virus. The lockdowns never worked.
Sweden never had lockdowns etc.
The less vaccinated a population the less Covid.

Isolation of a whole community is a different story….this group may have had very low exposure to the virus when it was most virulent. I’m not sure if that’s the case, but it is the reason you can’t just pick a sample, especially one that’s so different from the population.
