said the U.S. intelligence community

 “incidentally collected” information 

on President Donald Trump transition team.

Nunes said, “So first I recently confirmed 

that on numerous occasions, the 

intelligence community incidentally 

collected information about U.S. citizens

 involved in the Trump transition. Details 

about U.S. persons associated with the 

incoming administration, details with 

little or no apparent foreign intelligence 

value were widely disseminated in 

intelligence community reporting. 

Third, I have confirmed that additional 

names of Trump transition team 

members were unmasked. And fourth 

and finally I want to be clear, none of this surveillance 

was related to Russia or the

 investigation of Russian activities or 

of the Trump team.”

Yet another twist, and there wil be more going both ways. One way of looking at this is to ask why the Donald would put his whole career and his whole family at risk when he already has such a great life. Put his fate in the hands of strangers, members of his own team and Russians. For what? A marginal probability of affecting an election he was slated to lose whatever the circumstances. The chances of such activities coming out are almost 100%, choosing that risk is totally inconceivable and I don't believe he did.

 I was watching the last part (about an hour to two hours) of the hearing, on Monday, live as well as recordings of some of the questioning earlier by various members on the panel. It was clear that the Democrats, with that plank, Adam Shiff at the forefront, was trying their best to divert the attention away from the surveillance issue and were concentrating on ways and means to prove that DT and the Russians had a major influence on the election outcome.
The media, as I said elsewhere, have also done their best to project a skewed version of the events. They tried very hard to make something of the issues that James Comey preferred not to comment on and they also concentrated on the questioning by Schiff. None, or very few, said a word about the questioning by Devin Nunes or Trey Gowdy. Had they done that, their reporting would have been forced into another direction altogether.
There are clips about interviews with Gowdy where he was asked about his questioning which was largely directed at the illegal leaking of information, following the illegal/unwarranted/unnecessary/whatever surveillance. He was asked whether he was surprised that Comey decline to comment on a large number of questions. He said that he was not at all surprised. He was actually expecting him not to comment on them but he asked the questions nonetheless, in the hope that the Democrats and, more important, the public would understand that this is a much wider issue than what that think. 
Without saying directly saying it he was identifying a whole host of people who could have been behind the leaks, including that scaniving female dog, Loretta Lynch. 
Thinking back, I think that it would have been great fun and games if they had Jason Chaffetz and Jim Jordan on that panel as well. Imagine a Gowdy/Chaffetz/Jordan/Issa tag team. My dream hearing on this issue would be Obama in front of a panel Gowdy/Chaffetz/Jordan/Issa. I still recall how Gowdy had Hillary stuttering during the Benghazi hearings just before Ji m Jordan got hold of her.

 Good post Windpomp. I think after the Nunes disclosures a lot more will come out.
However to me the big question is will there be prosecutions. We saw Hillary be shown to be as gulity as hell but being let off. I hope we will see many prosecutions of these globalist anti American Traitors.
I think the globalist  open borders and sanctuary city traitors are losing the argument more and more as each day passes.Morons like dense denise are being exposed for the lunatics they are. Their big problem is that they are so dumb and gullible they actually believe these globalist MSM propaganda machines like CNN. MSNBC, ABC, BBC etc etc

Well, well appears that Donald was correct about the bugging at Trump Tower.
As I mentioned previously to the cricket know all and great SA cricketer (Crissy Curly) before u jump to conclusions get all the facts. But it is in his gene pool to in fact shoot from the hip and forever miss the target.
