The had their election Manifesto launch yesterday in PE.   They bussed in members from all over the country and said in advance that they expected  crowd of 100 000 for the event.
However, only an estimate 60% of the 42 000 seat stadium - ie about 25 000 seats - were occupied when Zuma addressed them and some of those left their seats while he was speaking.
Another problem is that about 8 000 000 voters have no addresses and were bussed in to take part in elections in areas where they do not live.  This matter is before the Constitutional Court now and their verdict is only due in May.
Zuma is foolish - there was another attack by him on the Judiciary recently and that is not going to help in future court cases involving the Concourt.   He appealed the Al Bashir case to that court and may end up with another verdict of where he trampled on the Constitution as well.   And then there is the Gupta issue to be investigated by Madontsela and the latest attack on her personally by Zuma's sidekicks in the  ANC Womens League which is not going to help his case as well.
In the meantime the Gauteng PEC of the ANC is feeling the heat and is suggesting he should leave.    Indications are that the ANC is having troubles - and serious ones - in Cape Town as well with two of their council members leaving the ANC and joining the DP.
I would not want to be in their shoes while Zuma is their leader.   The middle class voters are leaving them and the poor in cities will rather support the EFF and other parties than the ANC in those areas.
