The Constitutional Court ruling on Zuma's contempt of Court.

As I understand the majority judgement Zuma  has to go to jail for 16 months for contempt of court and undermining of the Judicial Commission of enquiry dealing with State Capture,   He has to surrender himself to the Commanding Officer of the Nkandla or Johannesburg Police Offices within five days of the order to start serving his sentence,

This confirm my belief that despite  everything else the South African Republic is still a democracy governed in accordance with the Constitution.

I wish other countries follow the same example - one of which is the USA where the present crooks in Government is undermining the US Constitution in  their attacks on the Judiciary and the Constitution itself,    The replicate of Zuma  in the USA is the Biden Administration that wants to undermine State Governments constitutional rights and they advocate the Packing of the Supreme Court to turn it into a further arm of the Democratic Party to ensure the establishment of a dictatorship in the USA.

The Appointment of a Commission of Enquiry similar to the Zondo Commission in the criminal activities of politicians in the USA is long overdue  and that relates to all politicians.

Will this carry on whilst he is incarcerated...will he enjoy a long ride in a police van to Maritzburg from ie Johannesburg or N'kandla to appear. Zuma is also facing additional legal woes as he is standing trial to face charges related to bribes that he allegedly received during South Africa’s 1999 arms procurement deal.

He will be brought to Court from prison when the arms corruption case is being heard .   However, that is the least of his worries.    When the Zondo Commission  report is finalized  there will be  dozens of court cases and the accused rats will turn on Zuma  to save their own necks/

The last effort of the New York DA went awry and there will be no charges against Trump.   The whole Demcoratic leadership is operating like a Mafia gang and they are all corrupt.   Let me give you a basic insight on ho/w the criminals operate.   Money was ap[proved by Congress to help people through the Pandemic and Biden now advise them to use the funds not for Covid related issues - but to hire and retain Policemen.  That obviously is fraudulent.    However, the fake media see nothing wrong with it.    

How much of the money actually reach beneficiaries  is another question.    Most of the money voted goes to the politicians and their cronies.   As an example Congress voted 2015 (Under Obama) for $16 billion to help Baltimore to recover from their self-inflicted problems.  Nothing wa done - bu the money actually vanish into thin aor.   

That is the way the Democrats operate.and there is not a  single senior Demcorat leader who should not be  in jail .         .     .

Best advice - stop following the fake news = there is zero they can do against Trump and that is a  fact.   The DA for New York shut down the case about taxation against Trump because media reports - especially based on lies  - do not comply with evidence in court cases.   

What tax money did Trump steal?    If there are things his companies did wrong - he would have been in jail already..     Trump has about 150 companies of which a fe w went belly-up - normal in the business sector.   In 2005 already according to the media he paid $38 million tax for personal income.   It would be very much higher now.

Africa's situation is 100% the result of African people not being able to resist the temptations that accompany positions of power. My Doctor here in Canada is a Nigerian who qualified in RSA and I was amazed to hear his comments about the state of Africa.

He was a bit more vocal and concluded that Africa is DOOMED and would never recover.

An old buddy of mine  from Kempton Park contacted me a few years back as his son and daughter had received their relative degrees and were unable to find suitable employment.

He was inquiring into the possibility of his children applying for work in Canada prior to making the move in the hope that they could come here and after a period apply to sponsor him and his wife.

Well with a bit of help from contacts at this end we have the two offspring here and employed with the parents to follow in a few months time.

Not the first time we have been able to help Saffers get out and I am sure that it will not be the last as well.

Rather late for my friends as they are seniors and will not be able to claim Canadian pensions but they will get Canadian Medical coverage at least through their children.

Most important though is that they will be safe, have a house and family here and I am sure that the "Friends of South Africa" groups will assist them in any way they can.

The Helen Suzman Foundation said a lower court could not overturn the Constitutional Court's ruling, which gave clear instructions for Zuma to be arrested after he failed to hand himself over.

Zuma said he wouldn't go to jail and said the Pietermaritzburg High Court first needed to hear his application for a stay of sentence. But the Helen Suzman Foundation's Anton van Dalsen said it didn’t work that way.

“It's clear, the order was made by the Constitutional Court just over a week ago, and it's not for a lower court to interfere. It's logical,” he said.

Did you know...the Constitutional court rulings can be appealed in magistrates court?

Actually, you could just take the ruling to the post office and get the postmaster to undo it.

*     Zuma.s high court application to cancel the order of the Constitution Court order for his imprisonment was rejected by the Gauteng High Court  with costs - it was the silliest application ever.\

*     Magashule - the ANC Secretary General who was suspended by them because of hundreds of millions Rand fraud was involved in while Premier of the Free State - applied to the same High Court to have his suspension annulled and his own suspension of Ramaphosa  confirmed  waalso met with the same result -rejected with costs.

*      The ANC suspended Niehaus - another ANC bigwig  who was in jail for fraud before - has been suspended  by the ANC and is likely to eb given the boot by them because of what hjappened woth the Zuma arrest,
