That debate was extremely interesting and it showed how fcae statistics is jused by the Democatic Party estbalishment to justify their crazy extremely leftist politicians tells people of the USA are scientific evaluations of what is the real situation on various issues reating to the USA. It will prbably not be watched by people like Mozarrt - who hate Focx News and especially Hannity who is one of th few people who still question the actions of the present USA Government.
So lets look at the present situation on the various issues raised during the debate and see what th situation and approach was of Desantis as Governor of Florda and Newsom as Governor of Califcornia.
The Law and Order issue
This really started off with the display of the iffucual sitauation of quoating of serious crime (murder, rape, armed robberies, car hijackings in th case of the country as a whole and the twos tates in particular was last year:-
* USA as a whole - 370 pe 100 000 people
* California - 499 per 100 000 people
* Florida - 256 per 100 000 people
Newsm could not really dispute the stats provided and his excuse was and his azttack was on private gun ownership in the USA. He accused Florida of being lax in respect of legal control of gun oneship - but apprarently failed to undestand that armed criminals do use fiearms to commit havoc in California with the strictest gun ownership in the USA. California aims at control gun ownership - which the criminals get hold of anyway and as in many cases tgh Stat governmnt fails to control. They control gun ownership by law-abiding citzens only - not gun ownership by criminals.
Desantiis drew attention to the fact that F lorida's approach as to gun ownerhsip was not only to legislation - but also to 258 organizations established in Florida which pomotes control by residnts of the guns they get legvally. He also pointed out that less than half of the crimes coimmitted are firearms related in both the country as a whole and California and Florida are firearms related.
Newso then tried anothr approach and started by accusing certain states controlled by the Republican Party of being more crime-ridden than California. He mentioned the same State statistics usedd by a Harvard Professor as examples where high crime rates was applicable. Her statistics point at fcor instance Lousiana and when questioned on the issuye used what Senator Kennedy described as "word salad" DShe used tghe Harvard statistics she dxeveloped and was not aware that local crime control falls under control of cities like New Orleans - as crime ridden as the cities under Democratic of cities under Democratic Party State control is. However, the word sal;ad S enator Kennedy used is based on fcalse statistics and not related in any way to real statistics.
When it comes to actual criminality Desantis pointed out that the situation is iworsened by local District Attorneys refusing to charging criminals with what they regarded as the result of oppessrion and not as criminal activities according to their election funder Soros. They produce long lists of activities that is unlawful - but where criminals are not being charged. That has been enhanced by states like California who release arrested criminals within 24 hours after arrest without bail payment. Criminal gangs in California and New York comprising of large number of crimianls raiding shops and not being charged because shoplifitng is according to the Soros controlled DA's not a crime. He pointed out that Newsom is doing nothing to help the situation. In San Francisco the resident could take it no longer and voted out the DA assisted by Soros - the son of one of the leaders of the Communist Party in the USA - but Soros did nothing about the similar issue in Los Angeles. In the case of two such DA's in Florida Desantis fired them when they refused apply the law by not charging crimianls - both whose election campaigns were funded by Soros.
Incidentally Soros son vists the WH on avcerage once a month to ensure his father's rules as to crimninality are followed by the Democrats in all respects.
The Open Border Policy of Biden
This issue was dealt with after a short break and again Hannity provided the basic statistics on the isue. He mentioned that there were -
* Over 7 million encounters by Boder Patrol staff with migtrants since biden took office; and
* According to the Porder Patrol officials an estinated 7OO OOO people were smuggled into the USA by the cartels while attending to the thosuands of people hadxto be attended to by the the Border Guards.
It is the latter catagory are the mules that carry the drugs - especially fentanyl - into the USA. In evidence before the House FBI Head Wray said it is a worrisome factor that tens of thousands of people entering the USA can be extremely dangerous from an inernal security situation. He mentioned amongst others the large Hamas protests in the USA as an example of a dangerous threat that would make 9/11 looks like a Sundxay School picnic.
A further problem highlighted that more than 10 000 young Chinese men entered the USA through the Mexican Boder, It si general knowledge that any person departing from China neds permission of the Chinese Government to leave China. So were the 10 000 Chinese being infiltrated into the USA effectively Chinese agents to cause internal strife and sabotage in the USA \
Newsom under the cirscumstances said that Florida is not a border State and California is. He has personally viewed the siituation as Governor and he said the statements of Biden and Mayorkas are 100% correct in thir assessments and that Florida is not a border state so Desantis cannot deal with the situation on a factual basis.
Desantis said that even though Florida is not a border state cities and states other than the border states are effected derastically by the disbursemnts o tens of thousands of the migrants. That was also the case in New York where the Demcratic Party Mayor said that the 120 000 migrants distributed to New York is destrying the viability of New York as a city and called for federal help to assist the city. He had to cut the education and police buidgets of the city to cover the accommodxation needs of the migrants of whixch there are 120 000 with a monthly increase of 10 000.
There si another problem with the Illegal migrants entering the USA. There were 250 000 children unaccomanied by their parents or any other relatives amongst the migrants, They were alegedly smuggled into the USA by the cartels and then handed over by the border guards to anybody who caims then as relatives and then they are used as slave labor in factories anxd especially in brothels in the USA. No Government Department for child welfare know where the children are. The latter information comes from the New York Times.
That ws not a god topic for Newsom and the result was detrmntal from the DP perspective. . .
Migration from California to other states - essentially Florida
There were approximately 750 000 migrants leaving Californa in the alst fur years, As a result California lost 3 House seats stemming from that.
Newsomn denies that it happened and claimed tghere are more people moving from Republican States to California. Stats prove that it is NOT the case and Desantis called him a liar as a result of that Statement,
Amongst others he referred to the purchase of a $25 million mansion in Florida by Nancy Pelosi. But he also read uut a summary of a discussion he had with a person who left California and in the statement the man gave a reason for his departure and move to Florida. The roof fell in when Desantis said the person making the statement was Newsom's .father-in-law.
The Biden Replacement Issue
Newsom said he is in regular contact with Biden and there is nio probklem with Biden's cognitive ability and no reason why he should be replaced by anybody as Democratic Party candidate. If Biden cannt beremain the candidate the obvious replacement will be Harris and he will not be the candidate that stood for elecxtion in 2024 against Biden. Newsome then referred to Desantis' campaign to become the Republican Party candidate and said netihher him or Desantis will be their Party candidat,
Education
The argument around the educ ation issue ebtween Newsom and Desantis centered around two issues - bnamely the fact that California that Calidfornia kept schools closed for much longer than Florida did. Newsom said it was for the sacfetgy of he children and enforced the guidelines to have children from the age of five wearing masks when leaving thir homes.
Desantis on the other hand claimed that th schools were kept closed by the Teachers Union and that it ahd nothing to do with the pandxemic at all. He quoted official figures on the dath rate between california and Floida and those were similar desite the fact that the Florida stopped the emergency closing of bussiness and retun to normal retun to business operation was much earlier than in Democatic Run States in the USA. In response Desantis stated that the Teacher's Union control both Newsom and Biden.
Another accusation of Newsom was that Florida censored books in school libraries that children were allowed to read. Desantis defnded the move andx stated that what is removed from school libraries were not normal education orientated books - but child pronography as well as books promitng Stalinist pograms like CRT is removed.
The Economy
The arguments between the two G overnors were the same as discussed and the sisues raised a number of times on site. Newsonm claimed tghe economy is booming - De santis claimed tghe opposite. The latyter argued that if the economy is indeed booming, why is the debrt ceiling to be raised to $38 billion as requested by Biden - why are their more unemployed people now than there was undxer Trump in 2019 - why are the ordinary workrs struggling to meet ends meet as a result of Gocvenrment regulations and inflation.
Mozart isa great supporter of the booming economy issue and the main issues has been raised baased on commnts of some media and the expediture ofc loan money to fund seemingly fruitless government policies that harm the US c onomy andx essentially why the Bien Government si restricting US dfrilling for oil and is threatening the oil companies with furture forecasts that would make it uneconomic for companies to invest money in further drilling. There are also extra-budget expnsiture such as grbannts to Ukraine to cover full cost of the Ukraine Government by US taxpayers that effect the people negvatively and mony spen on Ukraine lkeaves basic rfequirements ofd the poor in the USA badxly. Desantis said what is happening is wonderful for the rich and a disastger for everyboxdy else.
SUMMARY
One wondxers why Newsom agreed to the debate at all. I think he saw it as an opportunity to reach the wide viewership of Fox News witha much higher viewership than other tv comapnies in the USA, despite his claim that he is not hoping to get a foothold in somthing he denid and that is to replace Biden as Demcoratic Party candidate.
On the other hand Desantis was using the debate to improve his standing in the race to become the Republican Party candidate. It seems that Fox News is trying to boost him as candidate although not opening saying it in public.
I think that for Newsom the debate was a disaster - He was fluff and no facts. He disputed facts and povided falsified facts and nothing else of his own. What he in fact is he is an ultra-left unprincipled politician and is the main reason why people are leaving California. The fact is that his own father-in-law fled from California and went to live in Florida indicates how badx California really is under the Newsom Holliwood style Government. Biden is a disaster - Newsom is a worse disaster in the making.
