The weirdest situation imaginable can be regarded as the surge in crimes over the last year and the problem relates directly to the Democratic Party's approach towards criminality.
Last year there were a few cases - 14 in total - where Police action caused the death of unarmed Blacks who became according to the press heroes and the attacks on the Police especially became a regular discussion topic. The media made out that there were over a 1000 cases in that year. As a result the Democratic Party organized and funded "protests", which quickly turned into riots carried out by two of their subsidiaries BLM and Antifa, The result was 45 murders by rioters. more than 700 police being seriously injured in the attacks, thousands of businesses looted and buildings burned down in cities all over the USA.
Why are people not surprised by the crime surge in the USA? It should not surprise anybody when the leadership of the governing political party - the Democratic Party - is made up of corrupt liars and fraudsters. Corruption is their chief occupation and they lied whenever they open their mouths. So being criminals themselves protected by the FBI and Justice Department - their affinity to other criminals is obvious. Clean up the top will mean be harsher with all the criminals and send them to jail. The Democratic Party policy is to release repeat criminals without bail and allow them to continue their crime sprees, especially when the criminals rioted last year on their orders, after the few rioters who were fined for their actions fines were paid by their DP employers and the rest released without charges. A country governed by criminals should not be surprised if there is a crime surge.
So what happened subsequently;-
* The Police came under constant attack by the media and more importantly by the Democratic Party leadership on both Federal, State and Municipal level and a program to defund the Police started by the Democratic Mayors in cities. They do not support the Police when thy carry out required operations and the Police not dare to protect themselves when attacked, There are still freedom areas declared by BLM and Antifa where Police dare not enter and is forbidden to do so by the local Democratic Party Municipal Councils.
* Being under constant attack and lacking the support of their employers the Police started to resign and take early retirement and most of the cities now have a vacancy rate of 30% or more and joining he Police in those cities are regarded as only for people who want to commit suicide.
* Biden spoke about crime in his campaign and indicated he would implement changes. In January he personally launched an attack on the Police and then submitted a Bill named after George Floyd - a career criminal who was one of the few Blacks killed by Police that represents a dorect assult on police action and defanged thje police virtually totally.
* Even when the rioters were arrested last year - the Democrat controlled cities set the rioters free without charges and in the few cases where they were charged and fines imposed - the Democratic Party paid their fines.
* Democratic Party run cities and States ruled that arrested criminals should be set free immediately without paying bail and they are free to continue with their criminal activities. That even applies to people accused of murder,
* The DA's in cities run by the Democrats do not charge people for shoplifting and burglary of goods valued at less than $1 000 is stolen.
The results are chaotic - for instance in Los Angeles a chain store company closed 16 shops because of shopliftng causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in losses in six months time. The media at the time and until now hid the crime problem from the public and never report on it until last week when a gun battle between gangsters in the vicinity of a Base Ball stadium caused abandoning of the game and panic amongst the spectators who fled the scene.
