….dogs would never let the weakest and the dumbest lead the pack…Senator Kennedy talking about Joe Biden.

Meanwhile the Energy Secretary  doesn’t know how many barrels of oil the US consumes in a day when asked. Incredibly this is the person who has to advise on releasing oil out of the strategic reserve. Turns out what’s planned is about 3 day’s worth.

If you asked any of these pants on fire Climate Change nutters what percentage man made carbon dioxide is of total greenhouse gasses, they wouldn’t have a clue.

We have actually dismissed incompetence as an issue, only belief counts. The dogs wouldn’t tolerate this Energy Secretary.

Does Biden actually know what is going on.    I am amazed by the statement of  Biden that printing of money and  pumping money it into Government current spending will be impact positively to decrease inflation.    So the basic economic principle that supply and demand impact on prices do  not  apply anymore.

The other principle is also ignored and that is  that exchange rate weakening does not impact on prices of imported goods.

This looks more and more like "socialist" command economy principles    If that does not  drive up further inflation I must have gotten traditional economic  principles all wrong.

The other thing that is also making me doubt the thinking ability of the .Biden Administration relates to what you wrote above - but  also  the story about free bailing  that would would not harm the safety of ordinary people by letting accused violent criminals  walk free before trials  is not another socialist  blunder at a time  when  the Administration found Rittenhouse guilty (and indirectly still does),   while discarding the Waukesha terrorist attack as of minor importance.

I would not be surprised  if the approval rating of Biden takes a  further dip next week.  Why do they ignore the unpopularity of Biden and the disastrous consequences it had  on the latest election results in the USA as also reflected in the opinion polls.    Is it because the  Biden Bill on elections  will  allow for election fraud by flooding the system with illegal unidentified mail-in ballots and they  believe  elections are important - but as Stalin infamously claimed - that the most important election issue  is  by whom and how  counting of the votes are done?   .  .

On the one hand Biden wants a Trillions of dollar stimulus. On the other his recently renominated chief of the Fed is talking about pulling back on Fed support for the economy. If they both did nothing it would be better, having fiscal and monetary policy moving in opposite directions is lunacy.

The printing won’t stop any time soon. Has it ever stopped since 2008? The only reason nobody notices what it’s doing to the Dollar is because everybody else is doing the same thing. Indeed, what did happen in 1971!?

Plum

I was on six months holiday in  Europe  in 1973.    Unlike at present the costs incurred in hotel accommodation,   costs were covered  by using travelers checques.    Wjhn approaching the bank to buy travellers cheques they advised me not to use US Dollar cheques and to use Pound sterling - those days a pound sterling was worth  R1,50 - and  Deutshe Marks  of which 5 represents R1.  I spent time in Greece, Turkey, Germany - both West and East Germany -  the Netherlands.  Austria, Hungary, Italy and Portugal.    The dollar was not accepted in any of the countries I visited.

The apparent reason was the rapid rise of inflation in the USA  at the time and the totally problematic economic policy driven by Ford and even worse by Carter.

Many people regard Carter as a disaster as President - but at least he was honest and not a crook like Biden.

The media are turning on Biden now. Seems they are starting to realise that they set a precedent with Trump and that unless they attack the president their ratings will only continue to drop. …all the while independent media are taking an ever increasing slice of the pie with poll after poll showing that trust in legacy media has all but evaporated. Another example of how decentralisation is serving the people.

"Seems they are starting to realise that they set a precedent with Trump and that unless they attack the president their ratings will only continue to drop"

Too little too late for some I reckon.... they played their hand already very early on.
