The DOJ has issued their report on the Epstein list and the suicide. They affirmed it was a suicide and that extensive video footage from his cell has not produced any evidence that he was murdered.

And the list of Epstein participants has apparently been reviewed and contains no new bombshells. That despite Musk’s allegations about the Donald. Apparently right wing commentators are not pleased or persuaded….but there it is, a damp squib.

If their was anything tangible available, either the left or the right would have used it...whatever there was has been removed and swept under the carpet long before Epstein was killed...

The video footage that was finally released, shows nobody approaching Epstein's cell, from when he initially went in to the cell with his Orange jump suit on, to when he was found....

Anything could have been manipulated.... we will never know

I commend your attempt at honesty Mozart, in plain simple English, is it a cover up?

In my not so humble opinion based on the Director of DOJ stating that the report was 'right here on my desk' and that he was going to allow it to be published...which it wasn't.......I conclude that yes it's a cover up and that order would have come from Trump and delivered by one of his assistants.

A question....Epstein died by hanging himself with a rope......anyone know how a rope got into his cell?

He didn't, he hung himself with his bedsheets which he made into makeshift rope.

Lawyer who met with Epstein before death says cellmate caused "attempted suicide" injury

David Schoen says Epstein explained how murder suspect put rope around his neck

A lawyer who met with Jeffrey Epstein days before his death says Epstein told him he never tried to kill himself two weeks before – despite jail reports that he did.

David Schoen says Epstein explained his cellmate -- on trial for multiple murders -- caused the injury to his neck, and Epstein decided to keep quiet about it.

Schoen says Epstein revealed that a few weeks earlier, his cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione had placed something around his neck as part of a so-called "experiment."

"Or prank or something like that going on. And he put a rope around Mr. Epstein's neck - his throat -- and then pulled it. That left the abrasion, it left him quite shaken. He didn't feel he was in a position to refuse it," said Schoen.

Tartaglione was a former cop on trial for murdering four people involved in a drug ring.

He used a twist tie to strangle one of them.

Shoen says Epstein told him Tartaglione whipped the rope, or possibly a piece of cloth, from around his neck, making an abrasion.

He says Epstein said he did not pass out or have any serious injuries.

"He didn't want to be perceived to be a rat"

When jail officials saw the marks and assumed Epstein had tried to hang himself, Schoen says Epstein decided not to correct them.

"He said that he told the prison officials that he couldn't remember what had happened because he didn't want any trouble. He didn't want to be perceived to be a rat or something like that. And he was just hoping the whole incident would go away," said Schoen.

Schoen said he was at the jail because Epstein had requested he meet with him about taking over his defense on underage sex trafficking charges.

On Aug 1, Schoen said he met with Epstein for five hours inside the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan.

He said Epstein was optimistic and looking forward to an upcoming bond hearing.

"I had mapped out a kind of a four-prong defense approach that I thought we should take, and he was very excited about it, very upbeat," said Schoen.

The jail moved Tartaglione out of Epstein’s cell for an undisclosed reason and did not put in a new cellmate, even though jail officials had ordered he have one and was to be checked on every half hour.

On the night before Aug. 10, while unsupervised, with guards sleeping and the cell block cameras not working, Epstein died.

The medical examiner ruled his death a suicide, and a later DOJ report concurred.

However, Epstein's brother Mark Epstein tells WPBF 25 News Investigative Reporter Terri Parker that the evidence, including an independent autopsy report by reknown forensic medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden, points to murder, not suicide.

Schoen says he thinks labeling the previous neck injury as an attempted suicide helps continue the narrative that Epstein did kill himself.

But he doesn't buy it either.

"It doesn't seem logical to me that someone would actually hire me in a case nine days earlier and be excited up until the day of his death about fighting it, based on the strategy we had come up with, setting up meetings for me with the other lawyers,"said Schoen.

"That meeting was supposed to take place on Friday before he died, by the way. I cancelled and was going reschedule. I do regret that," he said.

Tartaglione was convicted of four counts of homicide in April.

*********

There are several questions surrounding the Epstein 'suicide'....we'll have to wait for a Democrat run house to reveal the truth until then his death like the Kennedy assassination will be clouded in mystery.

Conservative internet and media personalities are criticizing Attorney General Pam Bondi and the Trump administration after a recent government memo appeared to contradict statements Bondi made about the case of convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The two-page memo, which by the FBI and the Justice Department published after an “exhaustive review” of materials related to Epstein, concluded that there is no evidence of an “incriminating ‘client list’” or evidence that would lead to additional prosecution of third parties. The memo also concluded that Epstein died by suicide in his New York City jail cell in 2019 and that no evidence was found to suggest he had participated in blackmail.

The findings closely mirror what NBC News and many other outlets have reported and published for years — that while Epstein sexually abused underage girls, he did not keep a secret list of powerful pedophile clients he was blackmailing.

The unsigned memo, which Axios first reported on Sunday, has enraged many prominent conservatives online who have often been supportive of the Trump administration, leading some to allege that Trump’s Justice Department has taken part in a larger conspiracy to cover up aspects of the Epstein affair, which conspiracy theorists say implicates powerful and famous people, particularly Democrats.

Elon Musk, who has recently feuded with Trump and his administration after he left his post at the White House, led the charge criticizing the Trump administration over the memo, posting eight times Sunday and Monday and reposting a post from a user saying: “If the entire government is protecting pedophiles, it has officially become the government against the people.”

In particular, conservatives have expressed anger that Trump and other administration members promised tangible disclosures about Epstein if Trump were elected.

On Monday morning, Musk responded “anytime now” to a video posted last year showing Trump saying he would have “no problem” looking into an Epstein client list.

Others have zeroed in on statements made by Bondi.

In February, Bondi indicated to Fox News host John Roberts that files related to law enforcement’s investigations into Epstein — information that in reality was already largely public — included a list of Epstein clients.

“It’s sitting on my desk right now to review,” Bondi said, responding to a question about a potential client list, adding that she had “not yet” seen any bombshells.

In the wake of the memo, conservative critics are pointing to the segment as an indication of a cover-up.

“Sorry but this is unacceptable,” said online activist Robby Starbuck, best known for his successful pressure campaigns targeting major corporations for their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

“Was she lying then or is she lying now? We deserve answers,” Starbuck posted alongside the video.

During a segment of his YouTube show that lasted over 90 minutes, conservative pundit Benny Johnson declared that “the federal government [is] officially confirming the cover-up is complete with Jeffrey Epstein.”

Mike Benz, who worked in the State Department in Trump’s first administration, said on the “Real America’s Voice” talk show that while he trusted the senior Trump officials who released the memo, he nevertheless believed there was a vast “deep state” conspiracy.

“I think you have a global network here that spans the Central Intelligence Agency in the U.S., that spans British intelligence, Israeli intelligence, Saudi intelligence,” he claimed, without evidence.

Conservative commentator Rogan O’Handley, who goes by DC_Draino online and participated in a Trump administration photo op in February holding binders labeled “The Epstein Files,” on Monday called the memo part of a “shameful chapter” in the country’s history.

“Assuming this leaked Epstein Files memo is true, then we all know this is a shameful cover-up to protect the most heinous elites. We were told multiple times the files would be released, and now it looks like backroom deals have been made to keep them hidden,” he wrote in a post.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt defended the memo Monday, saying at a news briefing that the Justice Department and FBI had “committed to an exhaustive investigation. That’s what they did, and they provided the results of that.”

Asked for a message for Trump supporters who expected more people to be held accountable for Epstein’s alleged crimes, she said that “this administration wants anyone who has ever committed a crime to be held accountable.”

One former proponent of the Epstein conspiracy theory who has been silent is Dan Bongino, now the deputy director of the FBI. Before he took that job, Bongino boosted claims on his podcast that Epstein was a career blackmailer.

In a Jan. 4, 2024, episode, Bongino played a clip of a journalist saying she was “100%” convinced that Epstein was killed “because he made his whole living blackmailing people.”

Bongino told his listeners that he’d heard the same claims from another reporter and that they were “super important.” The FBI declined to comment about Bongino’s former claims.

The memo also acknowledged the challenges in releasing further material because so much of it could be harmful to Epstein’s accusers.

“Epstein harmed over one thousand victims,” the memo said. “Each suffered unique trauma. Sensitive information relating to these victims is intertwined throughout the materials. This includes specific details such as victim names and likenesses, physical descriptions, places of birth, associates, and employment history.”

The FBI and the Justice Department also released two versions of a nearly 11-hour video of the outside of a prison cell door, purportedly as evidence that no one else was involved when Epstein killed himself.

But that has done little to quell conspiracy claims. In both versions, timestamps on the videos jump from 11:58 p.m. to midnight, which has already inspired posts on X with tens of thousands of views claiming a government conspiracy to hide incriminating video.

The Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment on the missing minute.

Some of the right-wing commentators are saying,

  1. "How can Elaine Maxwell be in jail if there is no client list?"
  2. "Why would Epstein have killed himself if there were no client list?"
  3. Why would Prince Andrew be dethroned if he was not on the client list that never existed?"

A liberal world is a bizarre land... Many elements are unnecessary. A client list... Makes no sense. A powerful guy runs a network that provides other powerful people with the opportunity of sex with under aged people. No list is required. Who would keep a list in such a situation? The situation is binding enough by itself. The guy was powerful and did not need leverage over people. Simply providing them with a specific service they looked for. Blackmail... How so? It is a system of favours, the guy provides a favour and as such is returned with another favour. A liberal agreement without any need for blackmail.

Suicide: if anything of this has any ground, the guy was intelligent enough to understand he had to kill himself and not make it to the trial. The consequences of spilling the beans would have impacted people around him in a deep magnitude.Potentially shaken institutional powers. Nothing new here when you enter this type of business. If you get caught, the price to be paid is known. The question is not so much about the suicide, which was mandatory but how this guy, in a prison, had found the space to commit suicide... Big negligence here considering how valuable his testimony was supposed to be. This guy was probably the prisoner of the jail director's career, a guy who required extra care and attention. Warden patrols and stuff like that should be put under the microscope.

‘When the kingpin falls’: Epstein files back in spotlight as death ruled suicide

Sky News host Paul Murray discusses the “wild ride” stemming from the Epstein files and how Jeffrey Epstein’s death has been ruled a suicide.

“What a story this has been, what a wild ride … it has been officially ruled he killed himself in a New York jail,” Mr Murray said.

“The guards just fell asleep at exactly the right time and the camera cut out, yep, that is what the official story is, okay.”
