Are any or many Americans now calling the "former" Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf of America?

If you think about it, a gulf is really a super bowl

Obama renamed Mt McKinley Mountain Denali. Given the Gulf has major coastlines of Mexico and the USA,  a more neutral name might be the answer. But this seems a bit petty. Perhaps after getting what he wants on tariffs, he’ll smile and say ‘and we’ll keep calling it the Gulf of Mexico.

Failing that, perhaps The Gulf of Storms. Hell I lost a set of golf clubs to Hurricane Milton.

The Gulf of Lost Clubs sounds better.

Really funny - bot the gulf name went back to the early  Spanish occupation of North America and central and South America.    There main target was Mexico at  the time and the name dates from the 15 th century at the latest,.    Personally it should retain the name Gulf of Mexico and not bcome part of a program on namechanging which It think should not be implented.

Google now officially show the Gulf of America to people in America. To people in Mexico, it shows as the Gulf of Mexico. To people around the rest of the world is shown as a combination. Gulf of Mexico/Gulf of America.

Am I right or am I right ? Apparently Trump's daily hair & makeup routine takes 2 hours, 25 min for orange spray but more time's needed for his bleskop .
