Yesterday was another day of hearings, The Chairman called in three law professors from liberal universities. They did not lead to any discussion on why and what entails Impeachment and why and how it should be handled. They claim that the evidence based on assumption and hear say by all the witnesses was enough to impeach Trump - but could not reconcile that with normal judicial practice,
One of the Professors made an all out attack on Barron Trump - the 13 year old son of Trump. She ended up having to apologize for that totally uncalled for comments. This is the type of thing that really upsets people - they hate Trump and his whole family - and would use any weapon to destroy his family as well.
The fourth Professor went through the whole history of impeachment and pointed out categorially why the present process is flawed and that usage of impeachment as a political weapon is really wrong from a constitutional perspective, The other three Professors were basically political and even questioned the ruling of the Supreme Court on the norms applicable to bribery allegations in court.
I think the DP should adopt the slanted and fraud decision and impeach Trump and let the matter go to the Senate, The problem in that case is that it could be disastrous for the DP and proves that the farce is a political endevour to try and prevent Trump from running in the 2020 election, which DP members have admitted that they have no chance of winning should Trump be running as RP candidate.
