Finally, after literally months of brushing off the strike on the school in Minab as being "under investigation", the truth is out.

US senior military ignored warnings that their targetting database was obsolete and went ahead with the strike anyway.

You can read the full story here

Also, note that all this talk of "it's still being investigated" is just more bullshit.

"US military officials “knew within days (of the strike on the school) how the mistake happened,” one of the sources said. “It was obviously old info.”

Anyway, now that we finally know that this was a blunder (caused to a large extent by Hegsuck slashing the budget for what's called the "Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response program which he reduced to a single full time staffer), where's the apology?

‘sources say’….nothing new here. And do stop lying……you say ‘ caused to a large extent by Heckseth slashing the budget’. The CNN article which even the NY Times isn’t following said this’

Another factor that increased the risk of a mistake, according to two sources familiar with the decision-making process, was that Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response teams at CENTCOM and other combatant commands were already short-staffed due to Hegseth’s decision to cut the program earlier in his tenure.

‘Another factor’ vs ‘caused to a large extent’. Curb your bias,

Speaking about the Nato summit, he says “something has been determined, and some haven’t frankly”. God knows what that means.

He briefly turns to Iran, he says they are “very dangerous” and “sick” for “shooting rockets at ships, and so we hit them very hard last night”.

He says the Iranians are “dirty players” who “go after everyone, probably including me”, as he calls them “scum”.

“They are evil people,” he says.

Speaking at the Nato summit, Trump says the memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Iran is “over” because “I do not want to deal with them any more, they are scum”.

They are sick people, they are vicious, violent people.”

He then adds:

As far as I am concerned, it’s just a waste of time dealing with them. They are liars. … There is something wrong with them. They are cuckoo. As far as I am concerned, it is over.”

The Iranian foreign ministry said earlier that US attacks on Iran, plus other “violations” of the MoU, have rendered it “ineffective” (see post at 8:10).

Lol, the ships they attacked had nothing to do with it.

Where's the apology from Bozo, Trumpanzees?

More to the point, do you think Bozo and Hegsuck owe them an apology for killing all those schoolgirls?

@Rooinek ….. ‘More to the point, do you think Bozo and Hegsuck owe them an apology’….’ Where's the apology from Bozo, Trumpanzee’…….you are taunting posters and asking them to effectively apologize for Trump and Hegseth. If your goal is to say Trump should apologize just say so, stop using this as opportunity to try to embarrass posters you don’t agree with.

My goal is to get even one Trumpanzee to admit that an apology should be forthcoming . . . but it looks like you Trumpanzees have as much integrity and class as your orange idol.

Crickets.

There is not a Trumpanzee among us who is prepared to admit that the careless and unnecessary killing of hundreds of schoolchildren warrants any kind of apology.

I'm not sure what's more disgusting . . . Bozo, or the brainwashed knuckle-draggers who still support him.

@Rooinek GFY I don't have to prove anything to you or anyone... I'll make my conduct and character on this board speak for itself...you do the same and see where it leads you.

Eish, none of this stuff has anything to do with us.

I don't get why anyone has to apologise for stuff they are not involved in, have no say over and wouldn't have wanted to happen in the first place.

Who are they meant to apologise to and on behalf of.

It's interesting, I'd never seen Draad use the word "petulant" even once in about a decade and then I described him (or Bozo) as petulant . . . which clearly sent him running for his woordeboek . . . and now he uses the word in every second post.

@Rooinek ...jy moet beter oplet...ek gebruik dit baie...ek gebruik die "woordeboek" ook baie, maar net om spelling te verifieer...soms gramatika...probeer weer Paaiboelie.

@Rooinek...it might have been M who left the door open for a deliberate bombing of the school, so if you say it wasn't you I apologize for getting it wrong...I don't have the time to sieve through all the posts again... I'll take your word for it...it wasn't a deliberate lie and you know it.

Here’s the point of the whole string….take your meds

Not the point of the whole string but certainly the conclusion a reasonable person would draw. Not one Trumpanzee prepared to admit that this unnecessary blunder warrants an apology from the Bozo administration.

You lot have no common decency.

Once again you revert to an attack on your fellow posters, as your closer. Not one person on this Board has anything but deep sympathy for the people who died. But there is no final report, just a series of leaks from unidentified sources. And there is the co location of the school and the Red Guards facility, a typical ME strategy…which you conveniently ignore.

So given we still don’t know what happened, and anything the President says has legal force which could effect the lives of military personnel plus provide a propaganda victory to the enemy, he needs to be fully informed before he formally reacts.

Grow up….make an apology because of CNN leaks…..that’s way premature. As I said before when the conflict is over Americans will be generous, they always are.

Trump takes his lead from his tjommie Putin ... apologise for sweet f.a., never ever.
Between February 2022 and April 2026, over 3,500 children have been killed or injured in the war in Ukraine, according to [United Nations data](https://www. savethechildren.net/news/over-3500-children-equivalent-177-classrooms-killed-or-injured-ukraine-war-numbers-rising-year). This includes 791 children killed and 2,752 injured. Casualty rates have risen significantly, with an uptick in violence leaving thousands permanently changed and exposed to trauma.
bold
Rooinek probably means that someone within Trump's inner-circus could've said something conciliatory, like regretting the loss of so many young lives without accepting responsibility therefore.
Personally I'm convinced that as far as our resident Tzees go ... he remains beyond reproach.

Both Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were fiercely critical of Donald Trump before aligning with him.
Vice President JD Vance
Before entering politics, Vance was a self-described "Never Trump guy" who privately and publicly criticized Donald Trump. His previous comments included:

Calling Trump an "idiot" and "reprehensible" in deleted 2016 posts.
Comparing Trump to "America's Hitler" in a 2016 message to a friend.
Stating that Trump was "unfit" for the nation's highest office.

Vance has frequently addressed this evolution, stating that he was wrong about Trump and ultimately changed his mind after seeing Trump's policy successes.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio
During the 2016 Republican presidential primary, Rubio and Trump traded harsh personal insults. Rubio's critiques of Trump included:

Repeatedly calling Trump a "con artist".
Stating that Trump was an "embarrassment" and warning that the Republican party would be "consigned to the wilderness".
Suggesting Trump had a "meltdown" backstage during a debate and lacked basic qualifications.

Rubio went on to support Trump's successful 2024 presidential campaign before being appointed Secretary of State.
JD Vance on Trump in 2016
JD Vance once openly expressed deep reservations about Donald Trump's rhetoric and behavior.

Fellow Christians, everyone is watching us when we apologize for this man. Lord help us,
The Washington Post

Trump makes people I care about afraid. Immigrants, Muslims, etc. Because of this I find him reprehensible. God wants better of us,
