Most of us saw the movie Captain Smith played by Tom Hanks some years back.
I was puzzled how a band of pirates in a simple skiff could be allowed to take over a huge oil tanker only armed with power water hoses...this was freaky...I could not reason why international marine law did not allow these ships to be armed...I don't know if this has now changed but in this you tube clip we see how both USA and Russian naval ships handle this...LOL
