The fact is that the Republicans wanted to save the ignorant bastard from firther embarrassment and offered him an option that would take the border issuie off the agenda iro the election now only 190 months away. the Republicans demand that he accepted the law passed by he House about closing of the Border and should he agree -
* they would support funding to help defending the border; and
* they would support a grant to Ukraine.
Biden then called representatives to the WH for a meeting to find common ground/ Biden admitted the border was broken and he gave a vag ue promise deal with the issue. So what came out of the discussion was a draft law submitted by Biden to Congress, The draft law provides for -
* a maximum of 5 000 migrants may enter the USA per day; and
* he may close he border but only when there are elss than 3750 per day wants to enter the USA.
There is zero chance of that draf law be passed aand the Republicans in the house after rejecting the Bill will refuse to deal with Biden on anymthing - h e is a lying imbecile.
Wonder how he will get around the funding of Ukaine issue - that has gone out of the window with that lot of idiocy he asked the US House to approve. However, one wonders whether he really knows what he is doing.
