The real issues dealt wih by the IG

The main task of he IF was to do an internal interview by all staff members concerned and find out what the real situation was with regard to the FBI investigation of the Trump campaign in 2016/.

In the first instance he came to the conclusion that the FBI decision to investigate the involvement of Russia in the election on 2016 was justified,   There has been a number of reports done on the issue and it was by all investigations determined there was Russian interference,

However, this is where the problem arose in the past - why was the investigation concentrated on the trump campaign and the accusation was  that Trump conspired with the Russians.   That was entirely based on the Steele Dossier.   That was augmented by leaked information by the FBI.   Why did the FBI not corroborated what was in the Steele Dossier - they offered Steele $50 000 to get proof of verification, but he never provided it,

It was also known for years that  the Steele dossier was paid for by the Clintons and the DNC.   Why was that not verified by the FBI and the usage of the dossier stopped?   In any event - it was not and Horowitz identified 17 cases where information was changed and the Dossier summary used in the FISA application.   The same info was used to justify the appointment of Mueller as Special Council.

The second issue deals with political partisanship by the FBI.   The people interviewed denied that politics played a role in the investigation.    Horowitz could not go outside of the staff pf the FBI and the Justice Department to deal with his investigation, so he came to the inclusion that there was no political partisanship on the part of the FBI as to the investigation.   Fact is there was ample proof of partisanship and that will come out in the hearing tomorrow.   

It is only logical that there was criminality involved in the FISA application and that there were other criminal activity  in the whole process.   In the case of the criminality issue the Durham investigation will deal with that issue.   

Mike, Horowitz pulled a Comey. 

He listed all the malfeasance of the FBI etc the n said no partiality which can very easily be disproved given all the evidence that the FBI knew the Steele Dossier was not verified. Evidence exists as to the warnings given to the FBI as to this. They also withheld exculpatory evidence from the FISA Court. 

But best of all and absolutely shattering ly to Horowitz, Durban has made a public pronounce disagree with Horowitz and in particular saying he has evidence that there was no valid reason to start the investigation. Absolutely devastating!

Barr has slammed the opening of the investigation. 

So, most importantly Barr and Durban look set to  ring the whole Deep State crashing down. 

Lindsey Graham says those who have done wrong must pay a price. 

Yes Nadler and others too have admitted they can't beat Trump in 2020. Indeed Trump right now looks to be heading for a landslide win with the GOP retaking the House. 

Barr was smart. By appointing Durham it meant Obama appointed Horowitz wouldn't dare tamper with the facts. 

As President Trump said Durham has much more information.

I am amazed - he mass media makes a lot of the fact that the IG suspected bias - but was hesitant to contain such a  finding  in his report.   It was not the IG function to deal with the criminality involved - his only function was to deal with irregularities in the FBI handling of the Russian Hoax situation and there was plenty of those found.

The leftist media ignored the irregularities uncovered by the IG and grandly announced complete innocence and trump is now accused of  accusing the FBI and CIA of being involved in a witch hunt,  That will also bite the dust when  Durham started charging the FBI, CIA and Justice Department officials for criminal behaviour.   The media will then claim that it is political charges - not real criminality based on the IG report, 

Would like to see what happens in the Senate today - the Media will either ignore it or try and discredit of what really happened,

We have to remember that the IG has no prosecutorial authority and he has one job. Follow the facts and report them. Of course the media will jump on the bandwagon and say: "See, he has not prosecuted anybody (which he can't in any case) and he has not referred anybody for prosecution". They can do that by nitpicking small parts of a 300+ page report and BS the public, but they cannot undo the finer issues in the report.

What they are losing sight of, maybe deliberately if you ask me, is that Horowitz was only part of  a series of investigations. To get a clear picture, it may be a good idea to listen to what the guy at the top of this whole process, AG Bill Barr himself, has to say. This from an interview which was luckily, IMO, not done on Fox News. It was on NBC where it hopefully will reach some of the people who need to hear it. 

I say this because, once again IMO, the average Fox news viewer/listener does not need much convincing. For a change, and unlike on CNN or MSNBC, the interviewer asked really good relevant probing questions instead of the normal opinionated full out attacking way of questioning found on the likes of CNN and MSNBC. In return he got straight and clear answers and explanations by Barr.
