We shall hear the results of the meeting tomorrow. What was shown as part of Trump's Big Brother Reality TV was just Trump mumbling about nothing. The only meaningful thing said by Trump was that America have not agreed on what the peace plan would be.

What is clear is that America will not offer a peace plan, and even if it did, they will not honour it.

Why is Trump involved in negotiations if he is not offering a peaceplan from America? That is just a surrender plan. Rather, just let Europe deal with it.

What was interesting is that Trump said he had a great call with Putin 2 hours before the Zelensky meeting. He also said that he promised to phone Putin just after the phone call. It is embarrassing to watch Trump grovel at the feet of Putin.

The Russian Hoax Collusion must be true. Trump and Putin are clearly allies. They even communicated regularly during the Biden years, which is highly irregular - especially given that Trump refused to hand back highly classified materials to the government (that he intentionally took with him after being thrown

out of the White House)..

These peace plans are going nowhere, Russia's proposals are unacceptable to Ukraine. Ukraine's plan is unacceptable to Putin.

Ukraine and Zelensky are just playing for time here. They know the negations won't lead anywhere, they just want be able to say look we were willing to negotiate peace terms and offer concessions but the Russian's aren't playing ball. It's just a ploy to keep Trump on side so he doesn't get annoyed with Ukraine and cut off intelligence or stop selling weapons to Europe who in turn pass them on to Ukraine.

But this is the current geo-politics of the modern world, countries and politician's have to waste an inordinate amount of time placating Trump to stop him for doing serious damage. Like trying to dangle a packet of peanuts in front of chipmunk with a machine gun.

Jared Kushner and Steve Whitkoff are eager to sign a deal. Both are property developers that want to rush through a deal and get commision.

Europe has slipped up by neglecting its army, but at least that is improving. What I dont understand is why more European countries do not get their own nukes. Putin feels strong because he is the most nuclearly well-armed country in the world, and he can threaten countries without nukes.

Whenever the Allies have provided long-range nuclear weapons, Putin ups the ante with nuclear threats.

He would not be so confident if each of these countries had its own nukes.

If Putin did hit a country, then their nuclear deterrent would take out Moscow and St Petersburg.

Putin has no interest in peace, aiming to claim all of Ukraine before agreeing to any deal. Encouraged by Trump’s lenient stance, he has bombed Ukraine without restraint. Zelensky is left making concessions while Putin offers nothing in return. He also has to tread carefully with Trump to avoid losing U.S. support again. It’s ironic for Trump to claim we’re close to a deal—how many times has the blundering buffoon’s words vanished into nothingness?

I wonder about Trump's motivations—does Putin have some influence over him?
