With all the war-talk involving Russia there is something not generally known  by the Public - which relates to the above War:-

As the American Revolution broke out, Britain actually asked Catherine the Great for help in defeating their unruly colonies on the other side of the Atlantic. However, Catherine refused to help them.

British diplomats continued tirelessly to establish an alliance with Russia so that Catherine would send aid for British troops in America. At the very least, they hoped she would influence France into abandoning the American cause. Catherine was having none of it despite the fact that she attempted to mediate an end in 1780 out of the interest for Russian shipping in the Atlantic.

In a way Catherine the Great actually helped the Americans to win their Independence.

It w as during her reign that Alaska became Part of the Russian Empire  and it was her great grandson who sold Alaska to the USA more than a century later.

When idiots actually comment on something they know nothing about and do not understand history and the impact it has on the future  of countries.    That is clearly the case with the Rooinek Imbecile.

Just understand idiot - during the reign of Catherine the Russians had the biggest army in the world.    Imagine what would have happened if she released  50 000 of her troops to help England during the War of Independence.   She was a lifelong correspondent  with Voltaire - ever heard of him and was the most liberal ruler of any kingdom in Europe at the time. 

She introduced the jury system in Russia at the time it was unheard of anywhere else in the world and spent massive amounts on education opening and operating the first girl school in Russia.

How about learning something you know zero about - but then brainwashed idiots are too stupid to learn something about why history repeats itself because idiotic leaders do not learn to repeat mistakes of the past.     There is a golden saying - "Take from what in the past was good and noble and on that build your future". 

But then the woke culture wants to destroy history because they want it rewritten to condemn everything that happened in the past and take what was wrong as a basis for he future.    At the same time you must learn to hate your country and destroy it in the interests of the new and corrupt politicians of the present era.
