Gabbard said she was misunderstood. She said the US provides funding to labs in the Ukraine and they are conducting research into dangerous pathogens she did not say the US was using the labs to develop weapons but the research was for the public good (i.e to develop vaccines). She was also concerned that these labs being in a war zone might result in any accident in which these dangerous pathogens could escape.

The Russian's themselves have for years made accusations that the US had secret bio labs in Eastern Europe developing biological weapons, but they themselves where not pushing this angle when they launched the invasion of Ukraine.
After the war began, the biolabs myth was propagated by QAnon before it filtered out out to other far right and far left organizations, after seeing it gain traction the Russian's then seized on the story and their promotion of it ending creating a feedback loop between themselves and the conspiracy theorists.

Furthermore the presence of labs in Ukraine has been admitted under
oath in Senate and the fact is the labs are funded from the USA -ie
from Defense Force funds.
Those are not American labs, they are Ukrainian own and run and primarily funded by Ukraine. The American's do work with the Ukraiiane and fund research on biological pathogens, so they can develop vaccines. This is also done in many other countries as part of the U.S. Department of Defences Biological Threat Reduction Program.
You do understand the logic of why you would help fund other countries research into dangerous biological agents, don't you. Particularly after Covid, a viral outbreak in one country can quickly became the problem of many if not all other countries.

Their not, its purely a disinformation campaign that completely misrepresents whats actually happening and the majority of the US and Western countries populations understand that. Only gullible people like yourself fall for it.
