@Ceradunce, other than Trump becoming President, the other stuff you mention is not revelations.Even Trump winning was down to the older religious element, but he is not the first Republican to win an election with the help of religious simpletons. 
However, the good news is that the younger generations in the US are much, much less religious, so that is not going to happen again. They are smarter, and will not believe the conspiracy nonsense. 
 Johnson was mayor of London, so the next step is becoming prime minister - hardly a revelation. The EU was no surprise, as many people in the UK want to leave the EU. 
Certainly not conspiracy nut job stuff. 99.9% of the conspiracies are happy-clappy Christians.
