I assume we're excluding the twice-impeached one-term-failure who is widely regarded as the worst US president of all time and is in a category all of his own.

Outside of Bozo I would guess Jimmy Carter and the two Bushs would fight it out for worst US president . . . but all still a million times better than the bungling, deceitful and self-serving fool Bozo.

LMAO!
Indeed . . . after the incompetence and buffoonery of Bozo, pretty much anything that Biden does results in someone saying . . . "shot!"
Thanks ou Maaik. Unbelievably, you're actually making some progress!

Meet the next leader of Afghanistan: Abdul Ghani Baradar is veteran resistance fighter who saw off the Russians and was FREED from a Pakistani jail by Donald Trump as part of deal with Taliban

  • Abdul Ghani Baradar fought in the mujahideen against the Soviets  in the 1980s
  • He was co-founded Taliban in the early 1990s with Mullah Mohammed Omar
  • Baradar was captured in 2010 in Pakistan at the request of the US government
  • But released 2018 as Trump administration believed he could help broker peace
  • On Sunday, he flew from Doha to Kabul as militants stormed presidential palace

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, one of the co-founders of the Taliban, was freed from jail in Pakistan three years ago at the request of the U.S. government.

Just nine months ago, he posed for pictures with Donald Trump's Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to sign a peace deal in Doha which today lies in tatters.

On Sunday, his forces seized Kabul and he is now tipped to become Afghanistan's next leader in a reversal of fortune which humiliates Washington.

There were an agreement about a armistice agreement between the Taliban and the Afghan Government which cater for a prisoner exchange as well.   Trump had no say about who should be released so your media BS has been exposed again.    Do they ever stop lying?  Don't think so - they have enough  suckers like you lapping up their distortions and lies.

‘Widely regarded as the worst US President.’ For what….putting Isis into remission, building the best economic record in this century, having the fewest military deaths since WW2?

We are not talking about biased media opinion….we are talking about  facts, images we can see on our TV. We are talking about kick starting terrorism completely unnecessarily.

On the one hand, Trump nor Biden should not have withdrawn their troops, at least so quickly.
On the other hand, the troops should not have been there in the first place.
On the other foot, at some point they would have to withdraw, so why not sooner than later.

I wouldn’t say Korea was lost…the others were really occupations where the culture never took. It’s one of America’s weaknesses, most Americans believe the world  really wants to be American.

Nobody would disagree with you - the US troops should never have been on the ground in Afghanistan.    There are so many other ways that the USA could have punished the Taliban - for instance air attacks and missiles - but they were there,

Trump told the Taliban if they breach the withdrawal agreement they would be punished   by probably heavy air and missile attacks - and they knew what to expect from him.   World leaders praise him - but they know Biden is a spineless idiot and they really despise him behind his back.   The Taliban leadership knows Biden is the type that would do nothing and no planning of the withdrawal  would create an opening for them to gain control..

What happened is going to set dictatorships and rogue Governments hroughout the world openings to do what they please without any consequences for their actions on the part of the USA,    Biden has added uncertainty to the unstable world we are living in.

I fear that the next terrorist actvities organized by the jihadists will be in Mozambique - there are already a terrorist operations  in Northern Mozambique and the Taliban would help those terrorists to strengthen their position. there.    Bad news to follow after the Biden disaster in Afghanistan.    /            .

America was once the poster child of Democracy, now Trump has turned it into a third-world Democracy.   Democracy and capitalism (with competition/choice) are what made America the leading economy in the world.
Who is ever going to trust future US elections now? In the medium to long term, things could really start to go backward for America. They could have a civil war, or become a dictatorship under Trump.

False accusations of voter fraud will undermine confidence in future democratic elections. It has already led to the Capitol Riot coup where they tried to hang anyone who was not pro-Trump, including Mike Pence.

The only thing to do is put Trump in jail for election fraud (false claims), and over time his fan base will decline.
America will work with whoever gives them the best trade deal. The latest being the peace deal that Trump negotiated with the founder of the Taliban to release him from jail.
The same person who has just taken over Afghanistan...

America has worked with and against terrorists. Bin Laden was at once stage an ally of America and they helped him in his wars. America wanted oil, but nowadays there are alternative sources of energy including gas- so no wonder they want out of the middle east.

You do not know yet whether there were voter fraud in the USA and that matter is now dealt with through audits.    If there were none the Democrats should have supported the audits and thus proof that they were right and Trump a bloody fool in raising the issue.    But they are fighting the audits like it is unbelievable and one wonders why that is the case.

On the other hand in the 2016 election there were 1275 cases of proven voter fraud that went to court and in the courts 1274 democrat fraud cases and one Republican case were exposed and fraudsters found guilty,   The Democrats has a bad reputation when it comes to voter fraud going back to 1948.

Your story about voter fraught is ill thought out and partisan.   If you think the Democrats is not corrupt you will not realize that they are the exact opposite.  They are run by corrupt individuals and Obama did what Zuma did - capture the Justice  Department and the FBI  to be political partisan and protect the DP crooks - he himself included.    If they have a Zondo type investigation the top leadership will all be in jail.

Now as to the story about those deals  with the Taliban - which CNN and the other liars lie about to protect Biden.   First of all there were two deals involved both helped along by the Trump administration, namely -

*  the armistice agreement between  the Taliban and the then Afghan Government  which allows for exchange of prisoners - the US was not a signatory to that deal and the two parties decided  on the  exchange of prisoners - not the Americans; and

*    the US withdrawal agreement  involving all three parties and signed by all three that laid down a specific program and indicate  that withdrawal would be on a program basis and all three parties  involved knew breaches would be punished harshly and  would stop withdrawal.

There were other allied nations with troops in Afghanistan that agreed to the two deals and they knew exactly  what was to happen.    What was not foreseen  was the fact that Biden effectively scrapped the withdrawal  agreement  and went ahead with a chaotic process that is directly linked to the collapse of the Afghan Government.    Instead  of withdrawal  to ensure that the replacement of US troops with Afghan troops would stop penetration by  the Taliban - the US troops was withdrawn in secret - the major bases were evacuated in secret and it opened up the way for Taliban forces to capture most of the country in record time.

The withdrawal was totally mismanaged by the Biden administration and even Democrats got horrified with what the Biden Administration and the Pentagon did.   The fact is that the story about the agreements are as false as your statement is.     If you think the other countries involved in Afghanistan was kept in the dark about the agreements  - you must be stupid beyond belief.

The leftist press  supported Biden all the way tin the election and since then praise him for his "achievement" which in fact was in most cases failures.   They are still trying to cover to get Biden out of the mess he created.

Scrapping the implementation program  and processes is  how  Biden F#cked up the whole withdrawal process.   The  foreign governments throughout the world   know that Biden broke a cardinal rule for relationships  has been destroyed by Biden - the USA not living up to  undertakings has been damaged beyond believe.    Taiwan has already been  told by the Chinese that US undertakings are worthless and they can expect no help  from the US in such a case.    There are many problems in the world at present worsened by the spineless and unprincipled  Biden Administration.

If you are a country involved in a crisis situation when Biden as President fled to his house in Delaware  and from there went to Camp David     In normal circumstances the advisors - pentagon generals and State Department Secretary and senior managers  would be in Camp David with Biden to deal with the crisis.    They were not and in effect Biden isolated himself from public view.    Biden is not very intelligent person other than when it comes  to corruption.    Even Biden must have realized that he f#cked up royally hence his self-isolation.

It is ironic that America went to Afghanistan to kill the leader of the Taliban after 9/11. No doubt oil deals were important as well.
Bin Laden was eventually found and killed, while the co-founder of the Taliban was put in jail at the request of America.

Other stopovers in the Middle East included Iran who was falsely accused of having weapons of mass destruction. Sadam Hussein's departure created a power vacuum for Isis, and terrorism has thrived ever since with new groups forming over time.

Now Trump has freed the other founder of the Taliban from prison as a peace deal with the Taliban.  (Saruman sic).
This very same person who is now the leader of Afghanistan (a country) by military revolution - and therefore building their power base again. It is believed they have US arms and weaponry, so very unclear how they got there.

Tump had zero to do with the prisoner exchange agreed upon by the Afghan Government and the Taliban.     Don't you ever understand plain English?    You must be nuts to repeat that BS of CNN.    They hare trying to lie Biden out of the shit he created himself.

As to the weapons and helicopters the Taliban have - it was left by the US soldiers on departure and for the rest captured from the Afghan Army.   The US army in their rush to depart without proper planning -  left billions of dollars valued weaponry  behind.

Just to correct the record for Sharkie.

Carter when president left Americans behind in IRAN.

Regan made it know that once elected he would deal with Iran on the hostage issue created by Carter.

Iran responded by releasing all the American hostages.

Obama released the #1 terrie from Cuba in exchange for an American army deserter.

Obama surrendered to Iran's demand to release funds locked in the USA all to get a Nuclear deal with the leading terrie financiers in the world.

What a deal that was for Iran and a sell out no more for the free world.

Obama paid $400 million to Iran for the release of a few people held in Iran.

Obama/Kerrie/Hillary Clinton sold a major stake of American uranium to Russia with Bill Clinton then getting paid $400k for a speech in Moscow.

Millions from the transaction ended up at the Clinton Foundation and yes other Demorats also gained from the sale.

Trump made it clear to the Taliban that he would bomb them out of existence if they harmed any American  whilst a settlement was on the table.

President Trunp had no dealing with releasing any terrie release with the Taliban that was the President's of Afghanistan's decision.

Biden opens the Southern Border to anyone who wishes to walk into the USA including who knows how many terries.

Biden with his hand picked sec. of Defense and Generals withdraws the US military from a country at war leaving behind all military equipment, thousands of Americans, local people that worked for the USA and are targets for the Taliban plus all the American lives lost in securing a form of Arab  peace (if that is ever possible) in the region and pouring trillions of dollars into rebuilding the infrastructure and the economy.

No wonder our very security and western way of life is at risk with TRAITORS like these Demorats in charge.

These Bastards should all be arrested, given their day in Military Court and then be led out and shot.

Then be deposited at a spot near where Bin L was dumped rather than contaminate any USA or western soil.

Wake up you twat and stop writing all the shit that you get from your Commie/Leftists associates, media and far, far left self.

Both Trump and Biden are following the will of the people by removing the US military from many countries in the world. (One of the few policies by Trump that made any sense).

The Trumpanzees like Arthur Martha John (AJH) is so biased by their far-right rhetoric, that they can't see Biden and Trump have the same policy.
They will criticize a president for following the past president's policy, even if it was fine when their master was in control. Yet somehow Biden is a communist for this.

Black Gold (Oil) is no longer needed as much as it was in the past- due to improved energy production from gas, and other natural assets- and clean renewable energy. So, the need to buy oil from the Middle East is no longer vital. It has also become economical to get oil from more countries because of improved technology.

America (and other countries) have been meddling in the Middle East when oil was needed, now they want to get out of there.

In the case of Trump all the withdrawals were  well-planned and well-organized to prevent chaotic  situations arising from the withdrawals.    In the case of Biden chaos follows whatever he touches.  Look how for instance the Germans organized their own withdrawal  taking wih them all their armaments and all the Germans working outside of the army as well as people working with and for the Germans and their families with no chaos involved.  Compare that with the American exit. In the case of Biden his Generals advised him against certain decisions and he ignored them and pulled the plug that caused the chaos that followed.

Living in cloud cuckoo land a to oil.    Biden casued havoc insofar as oil production is concerned and now pleads with the OPEC to increase production and to make up the shortage  caused by Biden.   Now Biden wats to import oil - but the poor exchange value of the dollar and the high prices at present make petrol in the USA  very expensive.

The USA since 1998 was no on ME oil altogether and if your argument holds water they would have pulled out of  the ME already.    Why did they not leave then?   Purely because th EU countries did not have the ships and other required strengths to protect their  own sources of supply.

What a load of horseshit you are writing once more.

For a minute remove your head out of your rear-end and explain how can any commander withdraw troops first and then expect all to be normal with thousands of SAVAGES fully armed waiting in the wings.

Al American citizens and their assistance (locals) who assisted the American effort in that country should have been evacuated first before withdrawing the troops and leaving these folks and military equipment behind.

Well not what Biden did now is it?

Same plan maybe but it all comes down to how to to introduce and apply the plan.....do you understand?

President Trump with his policy of making America self sufficient with respect to oil etc. had no reason to think of Middle East oil.

But the moment Biden moved into the chair he cancelled many oil contacts within the USA boundaries and made the USA dependent once more on Arab oil.

Yet another Demorat balls up or is it a plan to enrich the Biden' and the Demorat's once more.

By the way if it was not for the USA the Arabs in the Middle East would still be living in their tents, eating dates and camel meat and walking around in circles.

The USA and the Western nations invested in the Middle East to get oil and at the same time assist those countries in growing their economies plus helping them to get out of the out of the DARK AGES.

UNDERSTAND?????????

Biden clearly miscalculated here.

He knew the Taliban would mount a come back once the American's left and eventually regain power to some degree. He didn't have an issue with this and intended to blame Trump, saying hey look I was just following Trump's agreement and honoring America's word, I didn't want to leave troops there indefinitely and the Taliban return shows that for all the money and effort we where going through in Afghanistan is wasn't going to pay off.

Had Trump been in power I think that would be his calculation as well, though obviously he wouldn't have anyone else to blame. And for either President I think if that scenario unfolded they would have both been fine politically.

Where Biden and pretty much everyone else was wrong was the speed and completeness of the Taliban take over. Had the collapse taken years or even months he would not have looked near as bad for him.
As the commander in chief the book stops with Biden, no doubt his withdrawing off troops without informing the Afghan military came across to them as an abandonment and undermined morale among them but that alone can not account for the speed of the collapse.

Him also saying the Afghan's had no will to fight is also hugely disrespectful to the 60,000 or so Afghan troops that died fighting along side the international powers.
I don't think anyone saw the collapse coming as quickly as it did and he was certainly taken by surprise, hell even the Taliban said they didn't think they would win this quickly.
But say he had decided to reserve the decision and start a bombing campaign or sent troops back on the ground and halted the Taliban advance. Then what, how long does he stay, the Taliban would just bide their time and wait for Americans to go. So d oes he keep troops there indefinitely for the rest of his term, and keep American in another forever war because from what we know there is no way in shit the Afghans would be able to stand on their in the short to medium term.
Obama and Trump both tried to get out of Afghanistan and both stayed because they where advised this would happen. So they both kept pumping the money and resources in but they only delayed the inevitable.

So blame Biden if you want but the whole Afghan adventure was a failure and it became the failure of four Presidents not just one.

Yes the Afghan adventure was a failure and Bush should never have occupied. But the exit is a disaster. Undoing much of the  narrative  of 20 years  of successful and costly anti terrorist activity.

Three thousand five hundred US troops…..a tenth of what the US  has in Germany alone were enough to keep the Taliban in check and casualties were extremely low in recent years. It was a small expenditure in the global context and perhaps the most directly beneficial in the whole budget.

So if the facts on the ground suggested that the Taliban were not going to fulfill the terms of the agreement it was up to the President to adjust, to protect everybody in the American orbit. He foolishly blundered on and the costs are immense,

The propaganda value of those images, the encouragement they give  to every dangerous cause, are the fruits of Biden’s first significant act as President.

So yes blame Biden for foolish and costly leadership, for nullifying the many sacrifices made in Afghanistan and for treating the whole thing in terms of political calculus.

The worst part is leaving thousands of Americans - other than the soldiers - in a mess and in danger.   The whole situation  is one of somebody who cannot function properly - even Obama said  whatever Biden has to do will be a f#ckup and this was a gigantic one.

In the midst of a crisis - Biden fled from the WH and that shows he was totally defective.   the world is finding out that Biden is the real fool he was when they could bluff them before - he is a bloody disaster and the world would have to live with the rogue countries taking control.   What will Biden do when China attacks Taiwan - and that is a  certainty within the next three months,?    Flee to Delaware and Cmp David without taking his advisors with him?   Highly likely coming from a coward..

So tonight he had to address the US people and what happened - not a word about the Afghanistan crisis  - all about the new Covid issue and the ened to vaccinate people.   During the election campaign last year bot Biden and Harris said vaccination is out since Biden was pressing the  scientists to solve the problem  and produce a vaccine.   three months later the two ws of the first people to be vaccinated  - 10 months later and the majority of  the Blacks (70%) and Latino's  (58%)  is still not vaccinated largely based on the election campaign  against vaccination.    Biden was  and never will be a leader - thus far he f#cked up everything he touched  as is evident from recent opinion polls.

*     49%   saying the economy is suffering because of Biden - 47% support him

*     57%  says crime is  sweeping the  USA  - 39%  says not so

*     75%  says the open southern border is a crisis -  22% say it is not/

*     86%   says inflation is a major problem and of those 79% blame the Biden admin.

Apparently the Latino's  - used to be a sound  Democratic Block - is deserting in tens of thousands the Democrats  and in areas where the Latino's dominate and comprise more than 75%  of the voters the Democrats are losing in local elections.       .            .

The Germans left nothing behind - the German citizens and the Afghan assistants who worked for them and their armaments were all removed before the troops actually left.   There was nothing to loot left - bar the leftover beer that was part of the troops  usage and was not used.   One calls that planning based on reliable information and a proper operational plan.

In the case of the USA they left behind 10's of thosuands US Citizens  and more than $83 billion in armaments  and probably more refugees trying to flee the country because of the extremism of the Taliban.    In fact they left  bases and positions in secret and never informed the Afghan army they are departing and take over the areas they are leaving - so what happened - the Taliban saw an opening and poured through the defenseless areas created by the US Army and then we are surprised the defense of the Afghan army was made impossible.

This was not a planned and organized withdrawal - it was a panicky capitalization  leaving people and  things behind that should never have been be left behind.  Have you seen even rockets being left and those will be retained for their army and sold off to the other countries willing to use US weaponry even against the USA .

This is a real disaster - but nothing new for the Biden Administration.   His first act as President was to open the Mexican border without the  administrative  means to manage and deal with the situation.   Chaos was the inevitable result.

If you want to take this viewpoint that's perfectly fine. But whatever President was in charge would have to sell that to the public, cause that's effectively a never ending deployment and cost to the American tax payer. The American public supported withdrawing troops, you may have expressed that view in the past on this forum.

"The biggest blunder was leaving behind billions of dollars of weapons and equipment for the Taliban to loot...same way ISIS did in Iraq...same blunder twice...beyond stupid."
It might appear that way but had the American pulled out those weapons and equipment the optics would of been even worse. They would of been accused of actively taking away the Afghan's means of defending themselves and Afghan defeat would of been blamed primarily on that. Yes we now know the Afghan's where not going to hold on with or without those weapons in the light of recent events but we wouldn't have known that for sure had the weapons not being there.
Same thing in Iraq.

I doubt whether the Taliban would have attacked even if the armaments were moved out of Afghanistan    The could have taken out say  90% of the arms used and when the troops left the rest.   The situation in Afghanistan  was quite calm after signing of the armistice agreement which would have led to severe punishment for breaching the agreement , which they were assured would happen by Trump.   Biden through his actions and panicky flight effectively tore up the armistice agreement and gave them an opening  to attack with any counter-measures by the US being thrown in the dustbin.    .

An opinion poll was conducted in the USA after the debacle in Afghanistan  an 98% ofthe respondents said yes he should be.

Wonder what itwould done to the recall election of  Gov Newsom of California.    In the last  Governor election Newsom got 72% of the vote.    The recall si 50:50 now and any drop in support by 20%  would be fatal for the Democrats, bearing in mind that it would be the once  loyal Latino's that would have turned against the Democrats in massive numbers.

"It might appear that way but had the American pulled out those weapons and equipment the optics would of been even worse. "

No, that's an after the fact excuse...there's no sugar coating this, they fucked up big time...they learned nothing from when the same happened in Iraq...either that, or they didn't care after weighing the "optics" like you just did...not saying you agree with them...

Actually there has been no great public outcry to exit Afghanistan. A few cogent sentences would have settled the issue….I repeat it’s a small budget commitment.

Hell we could have paid for it by scaling back 3500 troops in Germany where they really aren’t needed.

Abysmal leadership from a man who should have stayed at home with his fellow geriatrics.

Not only is Biden guilty as charged but the "Hero's" in the Pentagon with all the brass on their shoulders and the decorations on their chest and nothing between the ears are just as guilty.

According to an MSNBC interview with an ex CIA operative the intelligence report given to the Pentagon and the White House suggested that if they withdrew the troops the Taliban would rush in and do exactly what they are doing.

Biden, the sec. of Defense and the General in charge all denied that such a report was issued by the CIA and are laying the blame on President Trump.

Typical Demorat performance and result.

Remember what Obama said about Joe the clown.

Just goes to show what type of command exists in the White House and the Pentagon.

Screw up, blame others for the screw up and deny all responsibility.

Bunch of F---in twats.

These military  leaders were willing to depart from a US President because he walked across the street to a church…but destroying a country wasn’t enough to prompt the slightest push back. The current military leadership, by their silence, are fully complicit in this mess.
