Why's it so hard for us to say out loud that Trump has lost his mind?Phil Quin05:00, Sep 02 2019

The US president has cancelled a scheduled visit to hold talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen.

OPINION: Why is it so hard for us to say out loud the blazingly obvious about the president of the United States: that he has utterly lost his mind. If Donald Trump were appointed the principal of your local secondary school tomorrow, you'd have pulled your kids out by Wednesday and he'd be gone by Friday. If he was mayor of your town, you'd pretend to live somewhere else. If he was a dog, you'd be making whispered phone calls to your vet.

I mean, I used to think Ronald Reagan and George W Bush were intellectually sub-par – but, by God, they're Mensa material compared to this guy. Meanwhile, his immediate past predecessor, Barack Obama, is as intellectually far ahead of Trump as it's possible to be while still belonging to the same species.

Let's review just the past few weeks, during which Trump seems to have crammed more abject lunacy than his 44 predecessors managed over the combined 250 years prior.

Markus SchreiberUS President Donald Trump: If he was mayor of your town, you'd pretend to live somewhere else, writes Phil Quin.

Sure, there have been terrible presidents before – corrupt, cruel and boorish ones; mendacious, vain, ignorant ones; racists, misogynists, and warmongers; incompetents and dilettantes – but only Trump embodies each and every one of those qualities with such unbridled ferocity. He disgraced the Oval Office by ever setting foot in there; he has been disgracing himself, and anyone that supports him, every day since.

Donald Trump's climate rebuff at G7 summit
Trump is serious about trying to buy Greenland
Is Trump preparing for a popular uprising, rather than re-election?

The cray-cray is in high escalation of late, but I won't re-traumatise you with too much detail.  Here are the lowlights: his bizarre pitch to purchase Greenland, which he both dismissed as a joke and took seriously enough to cancel his visit to Denmark over; his offer to pardon any federal official who illegally procures land upon which to build his stupid wall; his gormless, self-destructive trade war; his claim that Melania had struck up a warm friendship with Kim Jong Un (they've never met); and his proposal to tackle hurricanes with nuclear weapons

David GoldmanTrump now says he was joking about trying to buy Greenland, but he took Denmark's objections seriously enough to cancel a visit there.

But the policies he's implementing are no less insane. Just last week, Trump announced he was rolling back Obama-era regulations on methane leaks that will result in the equivalent in climate damage of eight million additional vehicles on the road.

That's the whole of New Zealand's climate change agenda negated multiple times over in one fell swoop.

He did so not because the industry demanded it – in fact, most oil and gas giants had come to accept the regulations – but because he will do anything within his powers to claw back the legacy of Obama.

Alex Brandon/APTrump says his wife Melania struck up a warm friendship with Kim Jong Un. In fact, they've never met.

For no reason other than racially tinged and stupendous personal and political jealousy. America and the world are paying a heavy price for Trump's multifarious psychopathologies.

Neuropsychiatrists are bound by ethics not to bandy about terms like "rapidly advancing dementia" when it comes to the nuclear button guy, but I'm not.

Trump's cognitive decline is palpable and accelerating. Try this exercise if you don't believe me. Tee up YouTube with clips from 10 years ago, then two years ago, then today, and play them in order. It's like watching a guy get drunk at a party.

APTrump talked of using nuclear weapons against hurricanes, though he later decried this as fake news.

His most coherent moment over the past week came when he took to the G7 stage in France to propose one of his family's hideous resorts for the next get-together. Even if the proposal to host the G7 (or G8 if they let his boss Putin tag along) at a Trump property is a transparently vile abuse of office, it must reassure his loved ones that, even in his dotage, he remains capable of enthusiastically talking up hotel amenities.

Why do I turn with such little generosity to the subject of Donald Trump every few months? Easy target?  Maybe.

But this is a profoundly consequential political moment that demands our attention – especially as we confront the prospect of his re-election next November. Trump represents a clear and present threat to the liberal democratic consensus and alliances that helped deliver peace and security for most of the latter part of the 20th century.

ROSS GIBLIN/STUFFPhil Quin: "Trump represents a clear and present threat to the liberal democratic consensus and alliances that helped deliver peace and security for most of the latter part of the 20th century."

Actually, let me clarify that: if knowing what they know now about his policies and behaviour, the American people see fit to give Trump another term, those norms and alliances will have been struck dead by their hands, not his.

It takes one idiot to make a fool of himself every day he defaces the Oval Office. It takes tens of millions to elevate him there.

BB

Selling out the USA is what both his Democratic and Republican presidencies before him did and that caused huge unemployment in the USA,   The trade deficits with China, Canada and Mexico were particularly massive and they had a habit of  starting foreign wars added to the problem,

Trump is determined to make an effort to reduce military involvement in foreign countries and to withdraw the US troops from military adventures in other countries.

Looking at the effort of the Obama Administration to undermine the election of  2016 through the Russian Hoax story and the extreme leftwing approach of the Democrat potential candidates  at present, if one of them is elected as President in 2020  the fact is that it will be the last  democratic election the USA will ever see.

It is likely that Trump will be re-elected in 2020 - if he is not the USA will become a socialist dictatorship with a  destroyed economy well on its way to another civil war.  That is the factual; situation - once elected the Socialists will have to do massive election fraud to remain in charge hence my comments about the issue.

      .

Let's see: 1 Record employment, including for minorities 2 Landmark deal with Canada and Mexico. 3 Accelerated late cycle growth....almost unheard of historically. 4 Less explosive relations with N Korea, 5 Lowest number of military deaths for decades. 6 Calling China's bluff and putting huge pressure on a previously untouchable $400 billion dollar deficit. 7 Record stock markets and soaring dollar. 8 Commitment from Nato countries to pay their fair share. 9 Meeting America's commitment to move the embassy to Jerusalem. 10 A beginning to rebuilding America's military. .......... It's been a huge success so far and the only thing Trump is threatening is the Liberal Democratic political base that almost destroyed the Middle East. Bold, brave leadership that tackles all the issues left undone by his predecessors. The hysterical rubbish in this article is nothing new. The only difference is there is no mention of the Russian 'collusion'. The hilarious delusion that showed just how naive the Liberal Democratic alliance really is....and how unprincipled, unprincipled enough to launch a soft coup to topple a duly elected President.

Rooinek

Maybe intellectually - but when it comes to implementation - Obama was absolutely clueless.  His pet project was Obama Care and the plan flopped with a 60% rate increase for participants weeks before the 2016 election, costing Clinton the 2016 election,    From an economic perspective a serial flop too.

In the election in 2016 the survey in the Rust Belt States indicatesd    that 60%  of the urban voters  and 72% of the rural voters said America is going the wrong way and of the surveyed voters 73% voted for Trump and 24% for Clinton.  There was a 49% difference between Trump and Clinton on that score,   That is why there was a double digit swing in States like Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin from Democrat to Republican majorities.

Hardly evidence of an intellectually superior president - but more evidence of a serially-flopped presidency.   Could not even sell the Russian Hoax to the voters who were fed up with him as well as his two predecessors,   He was not alone in being an economic flop - the Clintons and Bushes were equally bad,   In the last 20 years the average real income of voters in the working class category declined by 10% with a disastrous impact on their standard of living,    The voters were tired of the situation and despite the propaganda of the press and the falsified opinion polls they voted for Trump.

You can get prove of wh at I say by looking at the ABC election night program.    Watch that one and you will find out what really happened.  It was not confined to the USA alone - look at Brexit and election results in Europe as well.   The New World Order worked for the political and financial elites.   The rich and powerful got richer, the working and middle class got poorer.

Bernie  Sanders said the media belonged to the elite and they control things through the media an he want to get at them.   And the Democratic Socialists controlling  the Democratic Party is now attacking Obama as a "failed" President,

        .

"Meanwhile, his immediate past predecessor, Barack Obama, is as intellectually far ahead of Trump as it's possible to be while still belonging to the same species."

-“If you like your plan, you can keep your plan, if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor.”

- “This is my last election … After my election I have more flexibility,” Obama said, expressing confidence that he would win a second term.

“I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” said Medvedev, Putin’s protégé and long considered number two in Moscow’s power structure”

Guantánamo Bay lawyers call bluff on Obama's promise to close prison

- “(The) hard truth is that some of the jobs that have been lost in the auto industry and elsewhere won’t be coming back,” Obama was to say, according to prepared remarks released by the White House.

Obummer is a radical leftwing globalist activist. The idea though that he was simply incompetent is BS.  He was yet another US President hell bent in destroying the US.

Hence America's first Kenyan Muslim president managed to double American debt from 10 to 20 trillion dollars. He continued the decimation of American manufacturing and the shipping of American jobs overseas. He over regulated the economy strangling small business. He refused to use US oil preferring to buy oil from his Muslims brothers anfd from his pal Vladimir.

While talking about border enforcement he practiced open borders.

He allowed Hillary's mob to sell 20 of US Uranium to his pal Vladimir.

He sent emails to Hillsry's private server.

But what may be his downfall was his role in the Coup. It is now certain Obummer was involved.

I saw an article listing the IQ of 34 presidents. Trump came on 4th with an I Q of 156. Obummer nowhere near.

Obummer was a puppet serving his globalist masters.

While Trump is fighting hard for the American people and the sovereignty of the US, Obummer was selling out the country to globalist interests.

Hussein Obummer is a Traitor. If justice is served he should be executed for TREASON along with his fellow plotters.

Trump is smeared as an ah 24/7 by the Globalist. MSM  but quite evedently is not and is in fact the best US president ever. Certainly the first president since Reagan who is actually batting for America.

Cloudy

Believe me I am not batting for Trump - I just despise the constant attacks on him by a very biased media - often enough total distortions and the fact that he is accused of a lot of things that uis totally false.

One example - the Inspector General submitted a report censoring the previous FBI Director Comey for what he did and CNN is attacking Trump saying Comey is a  hero who took a stand in  the interests of the USA by whistleblowing,    So what did he whistleblow about?   It was all about a dossier the Clinton Foundation funded that was used in which it was alleged  that Trump colluded with the Russians to get elected in 2016.

Four independent investigations could find zero evidence to proof that it happened and now there is now indications that the Dossier was concocted by the Obama Administration as an election strategy.   It did not work out and the origins of the false dossier is now being investigated and the role of Obama and the senior leaders of the  Democratic Party is now under investigation.

Now that the Russian Hoax story has been proven as of zero relevance and there is a very real possibility that the biggest election scandal is about to blow up in the faces of the DP - a new attack mechanism  has to be used and  suddenly the cue is Racism as laid down as a strategy for the 2020 election by the New York Times - followed by the TV channels.

If they attack Trump on legitimate policy issues  and have proof of it - I would also  criticize him.    However, truth is they have gone so far to the left that the electorate is not likely tp accept it.   So the campaign is ridiculous - everything would be free - who will pay for it?   Of any of their promises is implemented millions of the workers will lose their jobs and all hell is likely to break loose.

The liberal left, both in the UK and the US simply refuses to accept the results of elections. What they are doing is actually undermining the very core of democracy. And nauseatingly the media makes a virtue of their cynical obstructionism. Can democracy as we have known it since WW2 survive this assault?

“Nah I don’t like him. I much prefer the kinder leaders of the world, the humanitarians,......” You mean people like Obama, George Bush, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Tony Blair, David Cameron (I still cannot believe that I supported him), John McCain, Sleepy Joe Biden, Pocahontas Warren, Pothead Harris, Spartacus Booker. Should I go on? Consider these two incidents. On the one hand you have Hillary laughing and giggling about overthrowing and killing Gaddafi. On the other hand you have Trump asking how many people would be killed in a strike against Iran. When he was told that it would be 150, he called off the strike despite bombers being loaded and ready for take off. On the one hand you have Bush rushing in and fcuking up Iraq for decades to come. Bear in mind that the ever so honest, solemn and always fair and objective Robert Meuller was on the forefront of edging him on. Want to see a clip of him doing exactly that in Congress? On the other hand you have Trump reaching out to Kim John Un. Bear in mind the fact that Obama and everyone on the left told him that it was impossible. The only reasonable Democrat in the race is Tulsi Gabbard and guess what? The Dems are busy screwing her over exactly like the did in 2016 with Bernie Sanders. That is kind and reason sy humanitarians for you. The one anti warmongering candidate among them gets screwed over. Why? Because the donors, all part of either the big pharma or the industrial military complex don’t like her anti war stances. Is that the kind of humanitarians that you prefer?

Cloudy has a "mind" shaped and controlled by the elite globalist MSM  whose lies have caused their rankings to tank.

She has actuary been so stupid as to suck up theselies without a second thought.

It's astounding that some people can still be so insanely gullible to believe the Globalist MSM 's depiction of Trump.

Cloudy doesn't give a hoot about abortion, LGBT  or the many disastrous failing on the left. All the weirdo thinks about is that Trump in her warped view of matters is not nice.

No matter at all that Trump's opponents are such hideous people.

The fact of the matter is that when one looks at the half baked Cloudy and her best friend the raging God hater atheist rooibozo what you are seeing is the product of severe brainwashing to the point of insanity.

What I am very pleased about is the huge backlash around the world that is taking place against Globalism and is surrogates - progressivism, cultural Marxism, Islamic infiltration, radical leftism, fascism, the femnazi, abortion, open borders, man made climate change hoax, the destruction of nation states etc etc.

The battle for freedom, decency and the right of people to live in their countries and maintain their values, tradions and culture has now been fully joined.

If the Globalist forces win, the world will move towards a world tyranny the like of which has never before existed. Already on can see the desire of the scumbags to try and shut down opposing views.

The Globalist do not hate Trump and others world leaders like him because Trump is not nice (actually he has many great qualities and hence so many love him) but because he is destroying their World Order built up over many decades. Trump was loved by all before he ran for President and got great press. But Trump the President  was never supposed to happen.

Further so confident were they Trump could never happen that they were careless thinking they could bury all their misdeeds I clouding TREASON. Hence Crooked Hillary saying the NOOSE would be around their necks if she lost.

So to all the absurd brainwashed Trump haters here I say enjoy the revelations of corruption all the way up to Hussein Obummer regarding the Coup attempt, and all the other corruption suck as Uranium 1, IRS, BENGHAZI, EMAIL SCANDAL, CLINTON PAY FOR PLAY, IRS, BIDEN UKRAINE AND CHINA SCANDAL  and so much more.

Trump is looking good for 2020 so 5 more years of the Revelations will lead to indictments for sure.

I always maintained that Trump is not a politician - he is a shrewd businessman,   He is not a diplomatic figure at all and easily make remarks which especially politicians shied away from  or sound silly.

I once read a book containing a remark about politicians - "It is more honourable to be a prostitute than a politician",   Looking at the present era politicians I have to agree with that description.

Dear Cloudy, let me explain what I meant when I said that she was never going to be the Queen. I was hoping that mentioning the terms Queen Consort and Queen Regent might lead you in the right direction but alas. The Queen Mother, also Elizabeth, was the Queen Consort, the wife of the King who was the Monarch. Queen Elizabeth II is a Queen Regent, hence her Royal Cypher, E II R, which stands for Elizabeth II Regina. Only an heir to the throne can ever become a Regent and Monarch. The Queen/King Regent is the Monarch. The Queen Consort is the spouse of the Monarch. Diana was only ever destined to be the Queen Consort at best. Interestingly, it is only a woman who can become a Queen Consort. The male Consort to the Monarch, never takes his wife’s title, which is why Prince Philip is not the King Consort. If you think that Geldof’s knly contribution was Live Aid then that also is enough said. And please note. I’m no fan of old Bobbie. “Geldof is widely recognised for his activism, especially anti-poverty efforts concerning Africa.[6] In 1984, he and Midge Ure founded the charity supergroup Band Aid to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia.[4] They went on to organise the charity super-concert Live Aid the following year and the Live 8 concerts in 2005.[7] Geldof currently serves as an adviser to the ONE Campaign, co-founded by fellow Irish rock singer and activist Bono,[8] and is a member of the Africa Progress Panel (APP), a group of ten distinguished individuals who advocate at the highest levels for equitable and sustainable development in Africa. A single father, Geldof has also been outspoken for the fathers' rights movement.[9] Geldof was appointed Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) by Elizabeth II, and is a recipient of the Man of Peace title which recognises individuals who have made "an outstanding contribution to international social justice and peace", among numerous other awards and nominations.[10][11] In 2005, he received the Brit Award for Outstanding Contribution to Music.”
