Russia does not want anything related to NATO in Ukraine yet troops are to be deployed to ensure security. The Trump administration has it all thought already. While they demand european nations to ramp up their contribution to NATO to a whooping 5 per cent of GDP, they want European countries to deploy troops in Ukraine outside NATO. European nations will have to upkeep two types of troops: NATO troops and non NATO troops to be deployed on the ukrainian hot spot. In the meantime, no US troops will be officially deployed in the Ukraine (of course covert ops forces will be massively deployed) It is very funny, european nations's tribute to NATO is going to increase and european nations will have to foot extral bills to deploy out of the NATO system of alliance, meaning that if they get attacked in the Ukraine, no NATO nations may be called to the rescue automatically since it will not be an attack on NATO troops. It is very perverted. It is another way to strengthen the leash put on European nations. In case of Russia attacks, they will have to beg for support from NATO. On the other hand, the US will work on antagonizing Russia so that Russia feel like targeting european nations. An easy way to force a wedge between Europe and Russia, as the US do not want Germany and Russia to get closer. Since Germany's army is not yet ready, the main contributors will be England and France, which is going to give them leverage over Germany.
