Do liberals understand the world as they have made it? In the russian ukrainian conflict, the stakes are very high and anything resembling a defeat for Ukraine would be a major blow for the western world. DJT pictures himself as a master negotiator (which he obsviously is not) Liberals depict Putin as a 3d chess player yet expect him to make blunders. It would be a major mistake to come to the negotiation while having debunking DJT as a master negotiator. Even more, as liberals do not even seem to understand what they read or hear, depicting Trump as a tough negotiator with the US best interests at heart, making no concessions have one consequence: when Russia forces their terms of negotiation on the Ukraine and therefore on the US, this will be made as suitable to the US' best interests, otherwise, DJT, that negotiation wonder would not have allowed it.
Apparently, liberals have not captured the irony of Putin's statements. The best interests of Russia will be made the best interests of the US. That is a painful slap in the face. Obviously, diplomats around the world will not have the luxury of seeing it as a victory for the US but a major defeat.

I thnk that Trump has in the past acted against Russian interests when he banned the completion of he Baltic Sea gas pipeline because it made Gemany too dependent on Russia for the good of NATO and udermined the strength of NATO that way. Biden's first action wa ift the ban and allow for final completion and the US navy causing an envionmental disaster by bolwing up the same piepeline.
Trump tore up the nuclar arms treaty because Russia was cheating on it and insisted that a new treaty be negotiated with safeguards to ensure compliance and before that could be done Biden took over and never continued with any negotiations.
Kissinger once said the priorit of the USA should always be to keep Russia and C hina from combining forces ag aainst the U SA and that is exactly what happened under Biden.
As to the War in Ukraine it has fuck all to do with protection of NATO or any western interests and everything to do with Ukraine and the people living in Ukraine. It was a war that develoed from a Civil War in Eastern Ukraine and should have been sved b efore the Russian Invasion of 2022 and never was, Elemetns in the USA wanted a proxy war against Russia and that is exactly what happened.
