@ButtPlug,
Garbage. America is the richest country in the world. If they have problems, they must look internally before blaming the world.
Their Big Tech companies collect people's data - usually without consent - and then sell it. They are getting a good deal from globalisation. Imagine going into someone's country and stealing property and then selling it back to the country.
Trump only focuses on industries in which Trumperica is weaker, like cars.
Their problem is that the richest 3% are getting richer, mostly because they allow direct competitors to merge, killing competition, jobs, wage growth, etc.
If they broke these big companies up, it would create more jobs.
Look at Microsoft acquiring Activision. The first thing they did was fire 15% of the employees, mostly in the US and the EU, while keeping the people in India and other weaker currency countries.
The shareholders were happy as profits increased and looked forward to seeing Microsoft continue to jack up prices with no checks and balances for price determination.
Most of the main American politicians have a net-worth of over 50 million. While the public argues about left and right, they are getting screwed.
