Also you need to know for a President to be impeached a two thirds majority is needed in the Senate.. There is hence zero chance of Trump being impeached. Also a sitting President cannot be indicted. Finally the general consensus is that trump will win again in 2020.

I am not sure whether the above story in a newspaper in the UK could have real grounds.   Whom of Trump's friends will tell a UK newspaper about Trumps worries about impeachment.  Sound  a bit  of a tall story to me.

Anyway - Trump still has wide support in the US and the Senators will first have to find out what is happening in their home States and will not do anything that could impact on them in the 2020 election when 33 RP Senators is up for election.
