You just conform to a smaller herd, the happy-clappy conspiracists. A herd that gets smaller every day, as younger people are less religious every day.
I (and the mainstream of society) listen to industry leaders within their respective fields instead of people with no expertise.
We also use the consensus of experts (e.g. 97% of mechanics say XYZ).
This is what being a part of mainstream reality is.
It is logical to assume that if 97% of people within their specialist field agree on something,
it is probably right. If by chance it was not right, it is unlikely that a layman would know this- so it is not actionable.
If you don't even trust your master Trump on vaccines, it shows that you are living within an alternative reality of cloaks and daggers that is rife with conspiracy, mis-information and dis-information.
The smart conservatives were the first in line to get the vaccine, but the dumb ones think it is the mark of the beast.
