Just watching the news now.

It seems that much of the international community is not supporting the action by Trump, and people are feeling threatened by Trump. It was a world UN agreement signed by various countries, and Trump has terminated the US involvement from this.

Perhaps the main issue is Trump threatening economic sanctions against any country that trades with Iran. Given that Trump is getting into conflict with China via an economic trade war, Russian sanctions and more recently the EU for Digital Sales tax - it raises questions about Trump.

He appears to be isolating the US and boxing them into the corner. Soon he is going to have no allies, and the only card he has is economic blackmail.

  1. Is he too aggressive?
  2. Is shouting on Twitter in uppercase that Iran is going to end a good approach?

Iran is certainly a risk, but perhaps it would be better to try to take a collective decision via the UN. The way things are looking is there is going to be a war in Iran.

It may seem like a safe course if you do nothing....but taking on Korea 20 years ago could have been done without risk. Now a miltary course invites a nuclear attack.

Iran was playing brinksmanship......inciting aggression against a US Embassy, attacking oil fields. My guess is they thought their joint exercises with Russia and China would inoculate them against a  US response after they killed a US civilian.

Trump responded, actually in a very justifiable way.....taking out a man who is elbow deep in terrorism . Now they are howling about it, along with the Europeans and the left wing media.

Little  in Trump's presidency shows a lust for war......least of all his measured responses to aggression....like the Embassy attack or the Syrian use of poisoned gas. Lessons not learned by Chamberlain, Obama and the weak-kneed West.

The Middle East has been the most war-torn area in the world for the last 5 thousand years, with alliances often the result of shared enemies, rather than shared values.
Iran is a risk, as such the motive for the UN International treaty against them as they have proven to fund terrorism more than any country.
The question about America is they seem to change their allies in the Middle East more frequently than Clevermike uses his "machine".  Today's US allies that get funding support are tomorrow's terrorists.
However, Trump appears to be annoying countries around the world threatening them with economic sanctions- (Left, central or right-wing politics). It is early days, but I have seen spokespeople on TV from around the world that are not impressed.
There should be some Democratic consensus, and not some New York businessman trying to blackmail countries into agreements. There is talk that Trump may even have been unconstitutional without getting Senate approval for the attack. The Democrats know that Iran is a risk, but there is also due process before international warfare.
For right or wrong, the UN is Democratic - and if Trump wants international support he needs to consult with others. Sure Americans have died, but why are they constantly getting involved in wars in the Middle East- even when there has not been a specific terror threat.
I dont trust Iran, but Trump seems like a dictator that is a loose cannon. The world could put their foot down and tax the hell out US companies. Starting with Google, Amazon and Co.

The US has been carrying the water in the UN, Nato and in many other ways since WW2. When Ebola was threatening to get out of control....the US Army went in at great personal risk to save lives.

So Trump has said we have reached our limit. He isn't blackmailing anybody.....he is asking for a level playing field. If that's seen as strong arming other countries, it tells you how comfortable they are with trade terms that benefit them.
As for the UN...there is no chance they will seriously tackle Iran or Korea. .

SB

This is absolute BS,   The fact is that Trump is NOT a dictator and never was.   There is no way that there is a war with Iran for which Trump needs congressional approval.   Trump is having to protect the oil fields needed by the limb-wristed EU countries while they prattle like children,

Trump wants to get out of the endless ME wars started by his predecessors.    Every time he said and tried to do something the war-mongering Democrats screamed murder,   When Obama had Bin Laden killed in Pakistan was there similar reactions - no.   Did he ask Congress approval - no.  Did it start a war with Pakistan - no.

The EU must start protecting themselves for a change,   The biggest favour Trump can do for the USA citizens is to get them out of NATO and let the EU succumb to their own stupidity,   The idea that they can trade with their enemies and try and pay them off is not going to prevent  those enemies to undermine them.   If I was Trump I would  have said "Fuck them" -  why should the USA be providing a shield for them - they can do whatever they want and if they want to get their oil cut off - fine.

By the way - the USA is signing a new Trade Agreement with China next week,   Unlike Obama who signed trade agreements left, right and center without any idea how to protect the interests of he USA and it citizens.   Trump requires that such agreements should protect both parties involved.   The previous administrations did not care what happened to their own people imsofar as trade is concerned at all and the voters took their revenge on the corrupt DP.

The USA economy is humming and he has not threatened countries with sanctions left, right and center..  Where did you get that BS from.   Europe is a joke,   Germany is virtually  dependent on Russia for heating gas and oil - yet does nothing to protect the interest of other EU countries and Ukraine other than "sanctions" which they break every day anyway,

Lets get one other thing right,   If you think the  UN is democratic you must live on Cloud 9.   How many UN members have democratically elected governments?   How will you ever get UN agreement on issues while China and Russia have veto powers,    The UN is the least democratic institution there ever was and if you want to live in the EU and under UN governance you must be kidding,

Years of brainwashing let to a series of BS allegations made by you - wake up, the above is total unthinking hogwash.   LMAO

Yes, another tiresome duplicate by Trumps brainwashed CleverWanker  Is your machine pump dependent on Iran's oil and Trump bravados?.

Why is the UN not a Democratic organisation if lots of countries have votes? Sure, it may be inefficient, but it does not make it undemocratic.

With most member states not democracies - how can the main body be democratic?

Listen - I am not brain-washed by anybody - I am just a realist.    Fact is I do not even like Trump as a person  but I do not go crazy about getting rid of him by hook and by crook,   Why not let the voters decide on that - or do you not trust the voters to decide,

Are they ignorant and stupid deplorables as the RP supporters are described by the DP intelligentsia?    No SB there is a lot wrong in the world today and it is getting worse,   Perhaps that is why the top DP leaders are so corrupt.   They want to loot and steal as much as possible while they still can and had a free ticket with Obama as president,    Amazingly Obama learnt a lot from Zuma or is it vice versa - stuff the FBI and Justice Department with cronies and investigation of corruption will just not occur.

Mike there has been widespread praise for Trump's action even Germany said he did the right thing.

Mike there are three websites I recommend to you.

The Liberty Daily

The Gateway Pundit

The Citizen Free Press.

Whatfinger is a great aggregation news website taking over from Drudge.

The demonrats are making another massive political blinder siding with this terrorist against the American people. THEIR MSM is supporting Iran and so are the Hollywood leftist.

These anti American scumbags are marching over a cliff with what they are saying. Take a look at the articles on The Liberty Daily.

I noted long ago that the marxist/globalist left is in alliance with Islam and every day proves that more and more.

I note Mike that sharktwit doesn't answer a single fact you put on the table. So typical of these feeble minded nutjobs. They just keep losing every debate. Bwh hahahahs??

The UN might be democratic...South Africa is also democratic...mob rule doesn't work well if the electorate are stupid (deliberately uneducated )or lazy.

Trump has not started any war and is not about to start one.   Will he  be limb-wristed and weak like Obama was,   Remember Obama's red line which Syria was not to cross - namely using of poison gas against the rebels?

They ignored him as expected and carry on regardless,   Iran is pushing the limits in provocation and played the fool with the Nuclear Treaty and carrying on with their uranium  programme beyond the treaty limits and Trump was man enough to tear it up and put sanctions on them.   Afterwards Iran after numerous provocation and warnings kept up their actions.   They attacked the Saudi oilfields providing oil to the EU, Australia, India, China and Japan and Trump had to help out by releasing US oil reserves to help out the EU and he sent troops to Saudi-Arabia to help protect the interests of especially the EU - with a snag - the Saudi's must cover the cost of the USA army deployed to Kuwait and Saudi-Arabia.   No attacks - nothing.

What did Trump get in return - constant attacks by the EU countries,  who are too dull-witted and weak to look after their own interests.

Iran was warned not to try their luck again and what happened?   They launched a rocket attack on a base where USA troops were stationed and killed an American and wounded some US soldiers.    Do you want him to do nothing about that like Obama did?   Certainly it should be expected from the US Commander-in-Chief to protect the US troops..    Who sent the US troops to Iraq in the first instance?   It was Obama.

So Trump attacked the Iran based rebels from where the rockets were launced and wipe them out,   Next episode Seuleimani went to Baghdad to co-ordinate an attack on the US Embassy - similar to the Benghazi attack of 2012 where he was also involved,    Again Iran was told  they must behave and in response Khomeini taunted   Trump that he is powerless and cannot do anything.

Anyway the result was wiping out the person  involved in organizing the attack on the US Embassy in Baghdad - what else was he doing in Baghdad anyway other than to organize the attack?   .   Fully justified and not a declaration of war against anybody.

The Bastard had had hundreds of protestors in Iran killed recently.  So may he join the virgins promised to the martyrs in heaven after death.   The virgins will obviously  be there because of his murderous regime anyway,

No SB   - the shit started when the EU started to appease the radical and murderous  Ayatollah's running Iran and tried to put a treaty together in accordance with which their bank accounts were  unfrozen.   Iran got the money in the accounts running into billions and the other signatories got zero in return other than promises which were not kept.    They were too afraid to acknowledge the fact that Iran was not abiding by the Treaty and they were in fact allowing Iran to carry on regardless,

As stated previously - if I was in Trump's position I would withdrew all the US troops in Syria Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi-Arabia  and let the EU cowards stew in their own juice, especially sine the UK will be out of that dead-head cowardly combination soon.

If European and Chinese oil fields are attacked, it is their responsibility to act on this - not Trump. If Iran attacks other Middle East countries, it is not Trump's responsibility to get involved.
Democracy is about taking the consensus decision even if it is wrong. What other alternatives are their, Communism Dictatorships?
South Africa is not a good example, because Africans have never evolved to a situation where the majority are capable of making educated decisions.
The UN should be dealing with this, even if the wrong decision is made. America are involved in far too many wars, and it is usually for economic motives.

The fact is the wars involving the USA are with rare exceptions always started by Democrats, acting in liaison with the Armaments Industry,    The exception was with the Bosh wars in which they were in league with the Democrats and AI,

Trump has rep eatedly said he wants to bring US troops home  and kept on repeating it - but met with a huge amount of fight back by the DP and some elements in the RP acting in liaison with the AI,

There is too much corruption money involved  and if Trump is re-elected - which is  near to an absolute certainty - the real troop withdrawals will commence  and the war involvement will stop in both the ME and even in Korea,  .

Well to suggest that the UN must deal with an issue that is related to any Islamic run country or terrorism is a stretch.

Muslims have a simple majority at the UN and they can stop any or all actions against an Islamic run state without actually doing anything other than blocking any resolution forwarded to the security council.

The real issue is that many European countries have been overrun by Muslims who are exerting political pressure at the polls and elections thus forcing the weak-kneed politicians to comply in return for getting elected.

Belgium in the year 2022 (I believe) will have a Muslim majority electorally in parliament. That is just the start from there on it will be all downhill for western culture, principles and the rest.

Also, the UN since 1948 when it was formed has contributed to zero peace around the world and all it actually does is collect money from the West and distribute it to lost causes around the globe.  Mostly in Africa and the Middle East and from there directly into the Head Honchos accounts in Swiss banks.

As long as we accommodate any form of terrorism and free borders we will have to live with the consequences and accept our way of life, liberty, and religion to disappear forever.

What President Trump did was save numerous lives, prevent war and start holding the Iranians accountable for the crimes against humanity that they have committed over the years.

In short President Trump has only done what Jimmy "Peanut" Carter, Bill "Blow Job" Clinton and Osama "Cash Cow" Obama refused to confront and admit needed to be done.

Terrorism is a fact of life in today's world simply because the Western leaders are to "Left, seeking recognition and peace awards" and do not have the balls to get the job done.

Trump is not interested in Irian Oil what he is concerned about is keeping the "Straits" open so that the oil supply to other nations around the world doesn't collapse economically.
America is actually the highest producer of oil in the world and they are not dependent on Middle East oil but many other countries do.
You have to acknowledge the President for his stand and vision.

Belgium is on the point of collapse anyway,   The Flemish wants out and if the Muslims take control in Brussels  it will be the end of Belgium as a country,
Just for the record I wrote the following elsewhere:-

"What is not mentioned is that while Obama  was President  the Israeli's  planned to have Solumeini killed while he was  helping the Syrian Government in the civil war and in charge of one of the Persian units fighting on the side of the said  Government.  Obama was informed about the plan of the Israeli's and contacted the Teheran President informed him what was going on and advised them to take Solumeini out of Syria.

The result was the death of hundreds of USA soldiers in Iraq and Syria,   It also virtually destroyed the previously good relationship between the USA and Israeli Governments ,

If the above is indeed the case and there is evidence that it is - charges of treason should be laid against Obama,   He betrayed the interests of both Israel and especially the USA in this case. by conspiring with an enemy of the USA in an effort to help that enemy."

CM unfortunately after conscription was stopped in many countries around the world so did pride, honor and patriotic of one's country and the nation as well.

So I am not at all surprised about your posting regarding Osama Obama as well as what the following top dogs in his administration also carried out: Kerry (Sec. of State under Obama), Susan Rice (Nat, Security Advisor) and that scumbag Rose.

All traitors and considering Kerry was a war vet is even more alarming to me.

Time to make the call and get it corrected once and for all.

I know the Trumpanzees we have on this site are a particularly stupid and indoctrinated bunch but I didn't think they were all so far gone that they can't see that Bozo has taken the USA to the brink of war and embroiled them in yet another Middle Eastern quagmire that will cost them trillions of dollars, thousands of American lives and suffering for millions of innocent people . . . just to get votes in an election year and to deflect attention away from his impeachment.

I honestly don't know what's worse . . . this self-serving and incompetent fool or the brainwashed idiots who applaud his every blunder no matter how short-sighted or self-serving.

Seriously, how many of you Trumpanzees had ever heard of Qasem Soleimani before this incident and what evidence has Bozo or Pompeo provided to you imbeciles that makes you believe there was an "imminent threat" to the USA?

Rooinek the daily that you read the "Soweto News" has never printed his name in any reports thus far.

Perhaps you should subscribe to some other daily to keep abreast of worldly issues.

Don't consider all bloggers to be as uninformed as you are.

The Durban daily papers would be a good choice as they spend much time trying to update other ignorant twats who are in the same boat as you.

Rooinek

Why was the Nuclear deal called off.  Because Iran was not complying with the limitations put on them in terms of enrichment of uranium and that even came out in a UN report on the issue.  All that really happened was that Iran used the funds available to them to fund proxy wars like in Yemen and Syria and now in Iraq.

The fact is the wars are financed and weaponry provided by Iran to their proxy allies.   Trump realized it and decided to stop the flow of money to Iran.   In return the Iran Ayatollah's started with provoking a response from the USA,   They attacked the Saudi oil fields and Trump merely told Saudi Arabia he would help them defending their territory - provided they pay all the costs attached to that endeavour,    No attack on Iran.

The next step was that Iran and their proxies launched an attack in Iraq on a US military base - killing an American contract worker and wounding several soldiers.    The reaction was again limited - the Americans in revenge destroyed an Iranian proxy base in Iraq,   Then Iran with Soleimani in charge launched an attack on the US embassy in Iraq.   The man who organized that attack was killed as a result.

Trump wants to get all US troops out of the ME - inclusive of Afghanistan - where his predecessors got the USA involved in and said so various times.   When he said that the fake news said he was a coward.    He is not interested in any war - but is not going to sit around Obama style and let Iran continue on their attacks on USA institution and people.

Rooinek - the propaganda in the US is based on nothing but Trump hatred.   You claim the man was an unknown, but he was not.   He was in 2007 already placed under a travel ban outside of Iran by the United Nations.   He was behind the attack on the US embassy personnel in Benghazi in 2012.    The Israeli's wanted to kill him during the Syrian Civil War, but Oama betrayed them by providing information to the Teheran Government.

That being the case - unlike Obama he was not suckering up to anybody.   If Americans are harmed Trump will not sit back and do nothing.   He will not start any war - he will just destroy Iran piecemeal every time they did what they did in Iraq over the past 14 days,

By the way Trump does not need a war to win the 2020 election - he has the Dem ocrats self-destructing themselves on his side.

And another thing Trump tore up all the trade deals Obama entered into and renegotiated them in a way that both parties and not only the other countries involved in the deal with the USA paying the price for that load of garbage,    The deal with China was particularly good for China and won wonders how much of the $1,5 Billion Hunter Biden got from Chin went to Obama himself.   The trade deals Obama signed encouraged companies to close their US operations and moved it to other countries where labour was cheaper.

Even the Democrats have approved the new deal with  Canada and Mexico replacing the Obama tripe deal.

Wonder what kickback Obama got from the Iran Government after that deal was approved?     Obama was the Zuma of SA in the USA.   He stuffed the Security Services and Justice Department with senior official cronies that would stop investigation of corruption in the USA.

The fight  back by the corrupt is continuing - as is evident by the Russian and now Ukraine Hoaxes.    when  Trump win re-election in November 2020 by the end of 2021 the corrupt  leadership of the DP will largely be in jail and that includes your hero Adam Schiff.

I'm willing to bet that Redneck's made some very poor judgement calls on hiring personnel over the years.

He's not concerned with the applicants abilities. That explains his love of the quota. His choice of Notshe as Goats capt says it all. Bog ordinary, talentless, pointless.

Displaying anything other than the ordinary, run of the mill, low risk, politically correct behaviour is simply unacceptable.

Why hire someone with fresh ideas ... a free thinker ... unhindered by public opinion, ... a person who can actually contribute ... who can make a difference? Does such an appointment threaten him?

Why look for the unique ... a calculated risk taker ... when you can have a compliant, obedient bench warmer who's only purpose is to make up the numbers ... to do what he's told?

I suspect that Redneck has long dreamt of being someone like Trump ... and the mere fact that he's short, dumpy with limited thinking capabilities pisses him off. He probably has a poster of Trump on his bedroom wall.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's even envious of Donald's unique skill with a comb.

Why else would he rant so passionately?
