He literally told  people not to wear masks....as opposed to asking them to avoid surgical masks but make their own. He put lives at risk.

I could not stomach watching the whole video, but I think I got far enough to get the crux of the "argument".
There was a shortage of PPE - so the US government (and other countries) did not push the public to wear PPE. It was needed for hospitals - and jobs at most risk.
It was a calculated decision - and may actually be correct. Now that the supply is more available, the governments are changing their stance on this and recommending that everyone consider PPE.

It wasn’t just not pushing masks....it was literally telling the public  it could be a negative.  When they knew it wasn’t, that masks save lives. I know words have different meanings for the Left....but to me it’s a lie.....and it’s disgrace.

The Korean/Japanese numbers suggest minimal distancing plus masks would have saved Europe and the USA from many deaths.

Nee man, Moz. That is plain rude. Never destroy a good conspiracy theory with facts.

PS. I like showing these things from Jimmy Dore’s perspective. When a far leftie show up the lefties.

Ou Vrottie probably stopped watching where Jimmy said that it was Fauci who lied and not Trump. He probably vomited in his mouth there and then.

For someone who was elevated to almost god-like status during this pandemic, The Go-To Guy, He Who Should Not Be Questioned, Fauci seemed about as confused about it all as everyone else .

Small correction there . . . Fauci was only the Go-To-Guy (and Baboon-ou's big hero) when he was doing the Coronavirus briefings with Bozo as part of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

Unfortunately Bozo thought he knew more about viruses and pandemics than the doctors, the specialists and the experts so people like Fauci and Deborah Birx were reduced to specatator roles where they would roll their eyes in frustration or facepalm while Bozo said ignorant things like the virus was under control, told people it would miraculously disappear, touted the unproven and ineffective drug Hydroxychloroquine and suggested that people inject themselves with bleach.

This business of trying to make Fauci out to be a leftie as soon as he disagreed with Bozo is typical Trumpanzee revisionism. We all know the drill by now . . . anyone who disagrees with Bozo or criticises him must be deranged and stupid far left wing Antifa terrorist.

Where Fauci (and Birx and all the other qualified members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force) did let the American people down is in playing along for as long as they did and not calling out Bozo's ignorant and stupid statements as false and downright dangerous.

The reason Fauci has had such a sudden fall from grace is not because of whatever dumb thing he may have said about the use masks. That's just Trumpanzees deflecting away from the real reason. The real reason is because he contradicted Bozo's stupid and ignorant comments about hydroxychloroquine; he's contradicted what Bozo said about the virus being under control; he's warned against re-opening too soon and also because the majority of Americans would rather believe what a bloated, ignorant, incompetent and self-serving liar has to say about a specialist subject rather than the qualified specialist who's dedicated most of his life to studying immunology and infectious diseases.

Finally, not even the Trumpanzeres can deny that Fauci is/was a Bozo appointee. Fauci himself recently confirmed that he hasn't spoken to Bozo in 2 weeks but the fact that Bozo chooses to ignore his top advisor and rather have the national Coronavirus policy dictated by things he reads on the internet or hears from his equally ignorant and equally self-serving son-in-law doesn't change the fact that Fauci was appointed to his now seemingly defunct role by Bozo himself.

Just thought I'd clear up some of the obvious misconceptions about Baboon-ou's one-time hero Anthony Fauci. There's a lot more to it than just the wearing of masks.

Fauci was the expert called in by Trump after being informed of the potential implications of the virus by him.   The BSters were claiming that Trump did not want to use experts and was a law unto himself.  Rooinek was one of those/.

Now what would he say if  Fauci was not utilized as an expert.   It turned out that Fauci fucked up badly in his advice and that he laundered money to help the laboratory in China where the vi rus was developed and was closely linked to Soros and Gates.

Not nice people to be involved in.

The happy clappies were always going to try to blame science for anything that went wrong.
It will be scientists that discover the vaccine folks, not laymen. Just like it was scientists who invented antibody testing.

Interesting . . . the Venn diagram showing bible-bashing anti-vaxxer anti-science brainwashed conspiracy theorists on the one hand and Trumpanzees on the other is actually a perfect circle.

Hahaha, great horse race.....’Toilet Paper nowhere in sight’. And it’s only fair the scientists give us the cure, the chances remain high they gave us the disease. Be serious, how likely is it that the disease broke out a few hundred yards from the lab most involved in studying the disease....by chance.

There' s no evidence to back that statement up.

Anger returns with his tedious, politically correct  Irish bother.....you tell me Anger what are you contesting. That the lab was close to the wet market.....or that it’s a huge coincidence that the initial outbreak was likely in the wet market.

You do know what ‘coincidence’ means I hope?

Tedious politically correct Irish bother....you mean fact checking?. I know its something of an effort to do and its so much easier just to use feelings and coincidence to support ones world views but if you want your opinion to be worth anything than you need to fact check.

I'm contesting the claim that scientists likely gave us the disease. I'm aware that there was a lab 280 meters away from the market and a second lab 12km away.

Yes I know what a coincidence is. I just don't go around basing my opinions on coincidence.

At the moment that's all it is. A coincidence with nothing to support the claim. Its considerably more likely the virus occurred naturally as they have done multiple times in the past.

Even American intelligence agencies have said they hadn't noted the tell tale signs of a leak from a Chinese lab, monitored communications showed no sign of alarm from the side of the Chinese.

Fuaci as head of CDC was the appropriate source to advise Trump.

How Trump must have hated to crash his incredible economy to save what he was told was 2.2 million lives or more.

Unfortunately as I repeatedly showed Fauci was a conflicted guy who made many wrong calls which are well documented and have been shared on this board.

Fauci broke the law when Sending 3.7 billion dollars to the Wuhan lab researching the Coronavirus. All that has been explained on this board.

A full investigation needs to be done on Fauci, Gates Tedros and the 4 Demonrat Governors who ordered infected people back to old age homes.

The hydroxychloroquine cocktail is still the best treatment for the Wuhan Virus and its was great that the fake tests being done to disprove its efficacy blew up in the faces of those perpetrating the fraudulent tests!

As one looks at the record it is Trump making the right calls even against the advice of Fauci. Eg banning flights from China and Europe.

ROOIBOZO once again crashes and burns. Bwahahahaha

Bye the way anybody thinking some cloth mask is making them safe had better think again.

The Wuhan Virus is so small it can sail through the mask with no problem. Can even get through a surgical mask.

A sneeze travels 24 foot so 30 foot distancing is the necessary distance for safety.

Always remember 43% of US deaths occurred in old age homes thanks very largely to 4 US State demonrat Governors. Old age people infected in homes but who dies in hospitals are counted as hospital deaths!!

So what % of US deaths are actually old age home deaths? Doubt it's less than 60%.

Next Wuhan Virus deaths are overstated by at least 25%.  25% is the Dr Birx estimate and is bound to be on the low side. So deaths in the USA maybe as low as 40,000.

The Worldometer shows US deaths at very low levels now. Take a look at the graph.

The US  deaths from the Wuhan Virus is now said to be 0.26. Take into account the factors above and exclude them and you come to the flu death rate or even significantly less.

Always remember in the USA  every attempt has been made by demonrats to scare American by overstating Wuhan Virus deaths. The objective has been to tank the economy and then to stall the recovery. Doesn't look like this will work. In fact it is backfiring on these hateful, crazy Marxis t/Globalist scumbags.

Fauci has been in the news in recent times rubbishing Trump. Payback time where Fauci has explained on live TV broadcasts over the last few days that Trump's motives were purely political, taking priority over public health.
Fauci says he has worked with US presidents that are Republican and Democratic, but working under Trump was totally different. Fauci will retire soon, given he is now 80. His autobiography will no doubt feature allot about working with Trump, these worst pr esident in US history.

We spend decades banging heads, the lot of us on here, but most of us have never caught sight of the other. We met so long ago, I’d probably sadly walk straight past you in the street right now. Same applies to Rooi and Mike. I feel a less than emphatic kinship to some of those I have history with but when you think about it, this place is a strange one. We are all drawn to a fight with words, bonded by that love of the game. Are we friends or are we foes? What we do have on here is difficult to define. I wonder how different the dynamics would be if we met at the local pub on a monthly basis. I suspect chalk and cheese would best define it
