Solid progress is being made.

The only issue at the moment is the uncertain supply, as the EU is blocking the Pfizer vaccine made in the EU to the UK. (In order to get more of the AstraZeneca vaccine).

The plans 2 weeks ago were to have 1 million vaccines per day in the UK- which could have offered everyone over 18 during April, their first jabs.

But then last week it was announced that April would decrease in new vaccinations, with more focus on second jabs.
Rumours floating around as it is EU related, and also a batch from India never arrived.

Reports last week stated that April will see a vast decrease in daily vaccinations, with more focus on second jabs.
So it is unclear if the current level of vaccination can be maintained.

Meanwhile in South Africa, we haven't even started vaccinating anyone other than frontline workers . . . probably because the corrupt ANC pigs haven't worked out the best way to make money out of it yet.

Well done to the UK. I understand the biggest problem with maintaining the momentum is not the availability of vaccines, but the availability of needles.

No, they are already making money off it, regardless of their incompetence. Only thing they do reasonably well, is collecting taxes...

Don't get your hopes up on getting the vax anytime soon, by the time it will be available to the general public, it will probably be a bit dated already...atleast good progress are being made with new drugs to effectively treat coved patients.

mRNA vaccines can be extremely dangerous if not properly tested... and we are still in the testing phase...who knows what the long term side effects of these vaccines will be?
