40%+ of Russia's GDP is from the sales of energy. This primary industry will naturally create a whole lot of secondary and terrtitary industry jobs - so in reality that could add another 20% of the GDP.
If energy sales go down for what ever reason, Russia is utterly stuffed.
This is probably why Russia has started invading countries, because as newer clean energy alteratives arise - fossil fuel will be replaced.
NATO will have taken note that the quickest way to beat Russia is take out its energy sector, and the economy will collapse like a house of cards.
Ukraine is now bombing these enerfy fields which could be the quickest way to end the war. No energy sales, not funding for Putins war machine.
