Unsurprisingly, the article can not report that the US do not lose money/wealth as they have paid for nothing and emitted new dollars. Countries outside the US are the ones losing wealth as they trade goods, services against those new emitted dollars.
The focus on the rich is unexpected.
Usually, in those situations, liberals prefer to focus on the poor and tell that well if people suffer as they do, that is because of the guy at the top. Once the country is liberated, overnight, the poor who were poor because of the guy at the top suddenly are responsible for their own poverty and liberals focus their report on winners at life. No. It is in context, the context of the war and its consequences. The war did not harm Russian winners at life, while the war has had a negative cost for the west.

Better it be that way. The US have been emitting dollars as there is no tomorrow and the US stock market is a place of choice to park those newly emitted dollars.
It has to go up. Or that is bad news. Probably never happened in the current context as the west would have triggered a war before to prevent it from happening.
