One goal of the war is to erase russians as russians and get them to blend in the white people great tribe.
As such, it is determining to associate bad things to Russian characteristics while maintaining white people on a higher ground.
That is how western nations had ordered to limit as much as possible ukrainian military actions on Russian soil.
Especially attempts to invade Russia as the presence od Ukrainian military people will lead to atrocities committed by Ukrainians on Russians like rape.
At the moment, only Russians rape as Ukrainians have little access to russian women.
Being a russian means being a rapist, being a white person means being not. At the end of the war, Russians will be pressed to disociate from russian markers (tainted for ever, being a russian means being bad) to ascend to their new group: white people.

The requirement goes so far that the ukrainian leadership has committed to never use cluster bombs on russian ground (would mean bad blood between russians and white people forever) while using them on Ukrainian ground.
To preserve the white people narrative, they have committed to used cluster bombs on themselves and jeopardize the future of their own children.
