Did you watch what Mugabe Harris said about control by Government of consumer prices to be determined by Government. Even the NYT and Washington past said it is hogwash. It neve worked in any country in the world and goes back to the Roman Empire,
It inevitable leads to destruction of agriculture with massively decrease on production of food - while the limited products is sold on the Black Market a highly inflated prices and in mass starvation by the ordimary people. That is what happened in all counties wher that stunt was tried and Zimbabwe is the latest example whre 70% of the residents ended up having to be fed by Western Countries.
