US Mid-term Election on 6 November 2018

Nobody can really be sure who will win the Governorship, Senatorial and House of Representative elections on next Tuesday.   

It is traditional that the Governing Party lose seats in such elections and there are hopes expressed by the Democratic Party of taking control of the Senate and even the House of Representatives and some opinion polls in fact indicates a swing away from the Republicans.

Opinion polls in the USA have become unreliable because the pollsters have their own agendae - but we will have to wait until Wednesday morning to see what will be happening.

It seems that the opinion pools will not reflect the situation in a country where dividing lines have become more pronounced in the last decade.   

Any news and viewpoints on the above will be sincerely appreciated.       

..not so clevermike last i heard the dirty Repugnicants are using voter suppression / voter restriction  tactics to help rig the outcome by the looks..,.the corruptTrump crime syndicate are well versed in all types of dodgy underhand practices...from laundering money for the Russian mafia through Trumps hotels and casinos to tax evasion on a grand scale , to scamming investors....they make the ANC look like choir boys in comparison....common knowledge Trump's cabinet is corruption central as well and theres a growing list of White House officials including Trump and members of his family that need locking up...

...Dishonesty is a human trait that brings down the quality of life for all says mozart...but not a squeak when it's Trump that's being dishonest...explain that for us...

Maybe not in a small country like NZ - but in the rest of the world dishonesty in Government and misgovernment is a cancer.   I read about the Trump tax issue in the election two years ago and nothing has happened since - if he was in fact guilty he would have been acted against. 

I am sorry - but newspaper and media allegations are not proof of anything.   They are basically used by politicians to enhance their own agenda and I am very skeptical about them in certain cases.
