Vaccine for Coronavirus

More and more reports from countries talking about potential vaccines. Tests appear to have worked on Chimps and human testing is underway. 

So it is looking promising...  

1. China claims to be working on 3 different possible vaccines- all of which would be ready by October. 
2. UK has the University of Oxford saying that they could have the vaccine ready by September- and Imperial college are also saying they will have one ready for November.
3. US are testing lots of options, with one private company looking like the favourites to release a possible vaccine in October. 
4. Italy claimed they could have one near the end of the year. 

Many are following different approaches so the idea is that the best ones will be developed further. Some may suit older or younger patients. Some better for prevention than cures, others better as a treatment to help sick patients build up immunity. 

In the UK the biggest pharma company has started production of the Oxford vaccine assuming it will work- and write it off if it does not work. 

Saw this UK pharma is in talks with merging with the American company that is also developing a vaccine. 

Will be interesting to see how it is distributed.

The UK government already has an order for 100 million dosages- more than the 65 Million population. The US also has a backorder for over a billion dollars. How would the EU feel about this? If the EU gets the thrid bite who is next? What about NATO? It could turn in as a free for all. Even auction-based with the highest bidder - like what happened with PPE.   

WHO is talking about equal distribution across the world - but the country where it is invented surely have to get the first preference- before distributing across the globe. 

If China invents the best cure - will they give the world this for free given they gave Corona to everyone.

The craziness goes on.  Now CNN is campaigning that early use of any vaccine must not be allowed since there may be some imaginary health problems associated with it. 

It sounds like the Chinese owned CNN is now preparing for a  new election campaign based on the virus.   They feel the end is coming for the Virus campaign and they must find a new one.  Incidentally CNN is owned by Warner and Warner's majority shareholder is a Chinese Billionaire.   

I bet Rooi would gladly vote for forced vaccines for all.

...or you might be of the opinion that herd immunity will sort the virus out without the need to force anyone to do anything. As it has done with countless viruses in the past. The majority of which went entirely extinct on their own.

By default, this would be the preferred option, in part because there is no way to know what long term side effects are until a long time has passed. IE the most risk-averse strategy. 

I hear being risk-averse when it comes to health is a rather prudent and beneficial way to conduct business. Rumours perhaps.

Most people have a big problem with buying Chinese products...the cheap-good-for-nothing-rubbish.

Most people don't realize that lots of medical supplies, medicine and vaccines are also made in China.

I definitely don't want to put a rush job vac from China or anywhere else in my or my family's bodies...and forcing people to take it? What about the unintended long term effects? "I am Legend" anyone?

Sweden are still saying that countries delaying herd immunity are not stopping deaths. They're just pushing them out into the future.

And they are still, can't correctly saying that all countries will experience similar death rates, but those that adopt the Swedish policy will suffer much less economic consequences.

So have we come up with an effective vaccine for the flu? Nope every year there is a degree of effectiveness....but many people get the flu despite getting the vaccine. What saves us is our bodies recognizing and dealing with the threat....a degree of immunity.

We have zero immunity to the Wuhan virus. If our success with vaccines parallel our experience with flu we will need natural immunity. 

The fact that Sweden has higher cases is consistent with building immunity ie not putting all their eggs in the vaccine basket. That strategy will always look bad in comparison in the early days.....so Sweden looks more like France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain.....than Denmark or Norway.

That has been exaggerated by Sweden’s failure to protect it’s nursing homes where more than half their deaths occurred. Florida has shown these deaths can almost be eliminated.

 If an effective vaccine or a treatment is found....avoiding the virus is the best strategy. If they aren’t found countries which build rapid immunity in those not at risk will be in better shape economically and in terms of long term deaths.

Whenever a person is involved with George Soros and Bill Gates is - it means such a person is in alliance with Communist China and the World Governing Dictatorship Soros is striving for.   Bill  Gates is an accomplice of Soros and should be watched carefully after stating that the ideal world population should be 500 million people.

We know that stronger International Organizations mean - total paralysis.   You quote Bill Gates as an example.  Gates is nots in some cases.   He wants a world population of 500 million as ideal.  The vaccines he uses had some nasty consequences ibn countries like infertility and his operations in some country has been stopped because if side-effects,

We already know that 3 weeks is the upper limit of his test time for herd immunity.

There are allegations that he is taking medical research that is in the public domain- free. Then he improves it and registers it as a trademark so he can sell it. 

He did the same in the IT industry by copying other peoples products and then improving upon them or offering them for free as part of Windows so he could dominate the platform market. 

And he appears to have shares in companies that are giving The Gates foundations donations. 

However, he is not trying to kill the world with a vaccine. That is what you were talking about.
