Lets take a typical example ;   A Big Mac Hamburger plus chips and a coke in 2020 cost $5.   the same price for the same product at present is $19.    Eggs in the USA is costing  over $4.    The inflation rate on egg prices from 2023 to 2024 is over 46%.    Eggs are now smuggled into the USA  from Mexico - the profit margin is higher than drug smuggling.

You do know what is really happening in the EU countries and the USA when it comes to usage of land.    The German Government acxting on  instruction from the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels ended up with -

*     a change of land usage limiting  the farmers to only 50% of the land they farm to produce for in stance wheat or any other product they ahve poduced on the land for centuries; 10% goes to total  ban on farming,  25% must be used for organic farming and a further restriction is placed on te other 15%, meaning that it would reduce the outputs on farms for mass food production to 50% of the land to be used for real food mass production.

*     A to meat and dairy products - the number of cows provisionally reduced over a three year period to 50% of the total of cows in any given country over a three year period.    So now food may be grwon for the cows on the land - at least not on 50% of the land in question - but when the 50%.    People are instructed they may not it more than 10 grams of meat per day each,   Who  the hell empower bureaucrats to tell people what they amy and may not eat.  O -I forgot St Bill Gates openly campaign for people not to eat meat - but isntead use worms and insecs to eat insead of met when they make hamburgers.
