Virulent Virus

With the surge of this HMPV virus in China, which incidentally has been around for a very long time, it poses an interesting question, especially given our recent discussions regarding what happened with the forced vaccines during the Covid pandemic.

If another virus came out right now, which was easily transmissable, both through the air and also through bodily fluids, and no masks would prevent the spread of this virus..... how seriously would you expect or want people to take a 100% guaranteed vaccine, to ensure that they could not spread the virus to you and your family, and would you take the vaccine knowing that it could and probably would exclude you from interacting with your family and friends and the mainstream public, if you refused to take the vaccine.

Again, this is a scenario where the virus kills ... let's say .... 90% of whoever contracts the virus.

You cannot contain it with a mask, and it is easily transmissible through the air and also through any kind of bodily fluid, kissing, sneezing, coughing, sex .....

Questions:

1) If you were told that you needed this vaccine to re-enter the public domain, or face prosecution, including a long jail sentence, would you take the vaccine, and if not, what would you do.

2) Would you agree that anyone who refuses to take this vaccine, should not be permitted to be in any public space, including shoppping, driving around in their car etc etc.

3) Would you agree that companies could force all their employees to take the vaccine otherwise they would be dismissed because of the risk of infecting all the other employees is just too high.

4) Do you agree that Medical aids would have the rights to revoke all medical coverage, for any illness related to the disease, unless you took the vaccine.

5) Should patients who took the vaccine, be treated first as a priority at any hospital, compared to all patients who refused to take the vaccine.

Now if you said no to most of these questions above, it would be very interesting to see how you would interact with your famliy and friends and the rest of the world around you, especially if this virus was around for say.... 5 years.

I am not in agreement with forced vaccines at all, and never will be, but at some point, a company has to protect it's remaining employees, especially in a deadly scenario such as this, so I do fully understand why they would want to impement a policy of taking the vaccine or facing dismissal.

Same as any public member, if you were vaccinated and you were out in p ublic with your family, given how deadly this virus was, would you also expect and demand that anyone out in the public going against the new implemented policy, that has not taken the virus, faces seriously legal repercussions, because essentially, given the mortality rate of this virus, it is either attempted murder or involuntary manslaughter....

An interesting scenario, which I assume a lot of us would approach quite differently, given the opinions that have already been posted on here with us going through Covid and the forced vaccines.

First question: does this vaccine actually prevent infections and spreading?

Because the last one didn't and never could.

Sorry Pakie, I should have included that in my original opening post, because that was my very reason for creating this post... just to provide a different sceanrio to what happened with the Covid19 virus.

Yes.... the vaccine does prevent infections and the spreading of the virus, but the vaccine was tested and created in the same amount of time that the Covid vaccine was, so whilst it is 100% certain and guaranteed that this vaccine prevents any spreading of infections at all.... the long term benefits and health side effects of the vaccine on humas is unsure, much like the Covid vaccine...

In that case I will take it. 90% fatality rate is a lot different than Covid's, for example, 1.1% in the US where people are unhealthy as hell to begin with.

Not quit e true, the Covid vaccines did initially reduced infection rates but it became much less effective in doing that with later variants of Covid such as Delta and Omicron.

Would be interesting to see what those people think about being forced to take it.

Forced in the sense of your government is forcing you to take it, to continue a normal life as a citizen

Or, forced to take it because the virus could kill you, given it's high fatality rate.

It would still go against what a lot of people have voiced in the past, regarding untested vaccines....but living surely obviously takes precedence....

I wonder what the staunch ani-vaxers would say is their percentage preference on where they would agree to take the vaccine or not.... meaning, would you only take it if the fatality rate was 40% or more, or would you still not take it until it got as bad as 60% - 80%

As bad as what this Covid vaccine was to a lot of people, which resulted in complications and deaths....I do believe that more people would still be alive today if they took the vaccine when it became availa ble.
