There is only one creator.

He is the architect of every disease on this planet. Every living thing has His fingerprint on it ... including the viruses that kill us.

If you think of Him as a loving Father (yes He can be)... or a person who won't bend a reed ... then it's really time to pull your head out of the sand and be honest with yourself for once. Stop making excuses for Him. Stop portraying Him as a nice guy.

Reading the Bible gives you a very clear picture of His personality. He is vengeful God and temper tantrums are all part of the mix. Ask King David. He was a witness to more than a 100 000 innocent deaths.

I suppose you think the holocaust was Hitler's or Nazi Germany's idea?

It really is time you get to know who this God is.

You have the emphasis wrong. God's nature towards man is revealed in Christ.

Yes He allows man to suffer the consequences of his unbelief and sin but has provided the solution in Christ.

That's the way you can understand His true nature of Him.

He has given us a free will to choose between darkness and light and has not cloned us.

He has provided a solution but we want to do it our own way and hence the mess.

God is the same today, tomorrow and forever.

The God of Abraham and Isaac is still the same vengeful God we see today. He is still prone to temper tantrums and the end times are filled with His lust for vengeance.

Read Daniel and Revelations. Nothing has changed. It's filled with His wrath. Disease is just a part of it. Diseases of His own making.

We are all in for the high jump. Including you.

I realize that there are those who've set themselves apart from the rest of us sinners, claiming to have free passage into His Kingdom. I am not that arrogant as to presume I'm a part of this. By His grace and His grace alone.  We have all sinned. You too.

As for free will ... what choice did the Pharaoh have? His heart was hardened every time ... in other words ... his will was overridden ... an outcome was forced down ... God's will was done in the end.

Free will? I think not.

Look at Judas. Did he have a choice? Could he have done anything other than betray the Christ? His goose was cooked before he was even born.

Like I said ... perhaps it's time to take off the rose coloured glasses and see Him for what He is.

He's not your mate. Job found that out the hard way.

I am a sinner, never said I was not and fully understand that applies to all mankind, that's why we need a saviour and the gospel, to save us from our iniquities. You, me and everybody else has a choice to accept this or not.

Read the New Testament. Are you sullying the work of Christ dying for the sins of the world. Did He die and rise in vain ?

You obviously misunderstand His grace and are bitter and cynical about something that happened in your life, that's very sad. Only you can change that by your choice and I think you know that.

...and wait CC

“Apparently people don't like the truth, but I do like it; I like it because it upsets a lot of people. If you show them enough times that their arguments are bulldust , then maybe just once, one of them will say, 'Oh! Wait a minute - I was wrong.' I live for that happening. Rare, I assure you” ? I have read the New Testament ... several times over  ... and in it I saw just as many promises as I saw in the Old Testament.

Unfortunately, I’m the type of person who’ll hold you to your word. If you promised me something, I expect you to honour it. If you don’t, how do you expect me to trust you?

A good relationship is built on trust. In fact, it’s everything. A marriage cannot stand if there is no trust. It is not my duty to see to it that my wife remains faithful to me. It’s my duty to see to it that I remain faithful to her. We each have our role to play in the relationship.

If you’ve promised me faithfulness and loyalty, then that is exactly what I expect from you.

Dropping me when I needed you most doesn’t inspire trust. It makes me question your integrity. It makes me wonder whether you have a hidden agenda. It makes me think that there may be something you’re not telling me. It may even make me think that you are not in my corner as first thought.

Empty promises are on par with a lie in my opinion.

There are a lot of empty promises in God’s word. That makes Him unreliable. Not one you can depend on at all.

Christ bridged the gap between us, however, who’s to say that that too isn’t just another empty promise with a hidden agenda?

The most prized possession we have is our soul. Those waiting for us beyond the grave squabble over it like a pack of dogs over a bone.

I would think twice about who I entrust my soul to if I were you.

Perhaps it’s best to hang on to it for now till you’re sure.

CC I have am unused soul laying around here someplace, make us an offer and you can have it, that way you have a spare one if you piss off your imaginary friend

I will even pop it in a glass bottle for you so you can sit there and stare at it if you want .

Can you religious followers answer one thing for me, what does god and the devil do with all these souls they collect, stick them in a display cabinet to show off who has the biggest collection?
