Yes he found Islam, just a step but the true God never leaves you alone and I suspect the Hound of Heaven will still badger him and opens doors for him to see Him as He really is.
I too sort answers in various faiths and beliefs until I met Christ who made sense, and He was the Only Messiah that rose from the dead. And yes, I see sin in my own life and the world and it is subtle and dormant at times.and impossible to defeat and every one has it. Even some our thoughts are sinful, God is pure and holy and the only sacrifice that appeases this is His own intervention of sacrifice on the cross. I see this logically and clearly and since I accepted Him,peace far beyond human understanding. I know He's real and lives because nobody could be a more stubborn arse-hole than me. Every thing became clear and I now understand why the world is in such turmoil.
So there are 1.8 billion Muslims in the world and most go to their grave as Muslims but you reckon your god will reveal himself before they shuffle off?

It's just a simple answer and it works for me in a practical way and it has indeed changed me in so many ways and that is enough proof for me.
The other thing is He promised, if you truly seek you will find, but the seeking must be sincere and honest and under His terms not ours. I discard the things I don't understand and there are a few but there are so many answers I do. The scriptures were not meant as a science book, and God knowing our limitations would have never tried to explain it to us. Our minds would not even understand the creation of an atom let alone the universe, galaxies etc.
He came down in Christ at our simplest level and demonstrated that He loves and cares for us.
We can only identify with man that's why He came as a man.
Asking me why this happened and that happened is a bit silly, no man can give you the answer, it's beyond our understanding.
One thing I can say is, if deep in your heart you really want to find Him come to Him on His terms and not your own and He promises to remove the scales from your eyes and you will start seeing. Discard pride, your own intellect, be honest about your infirmities and foibles and seek His forgiveness. This requires dying to self.
It's not a very good answer, I think but I tried my best to be honest to you.
God loves you and our fellow men and even the cynics here, believe it or not. But I know He cares.

Sorry Seb but I cant help the way I think and there is no way in hell I can swallow the insanity of your religion as anything but a load of made up bullshit.
Can you seriously look at your religion and accept it as true, can you really see the god of the bible as a good god.
There is no way I can put aside my intelligence to accept such drivel as what is found in the bible as much as I could accept or worship your god for he is an immoral thug and is what I call an evil bastard. By what right does he have to torture and kill us for not grovelling at his feet and kissing his arse? A kind and loving god would act in the complete opposite to the thug you believe in.
You all condemn Hitler,Stalin, Pol Pot etc as evil murderers but they are mere amateurs compared to the number of people the Christian god has supposedly killed.
Your god allows child molesters/rapists/murderers to act in this world of our but does nothing to stop it.

Why does he have to murder people by the millions, surely a good and forgiving god would not act like this but you lot will just turn a blind eye to anything that opposes what you want to be true. And the question often fired at Believers is what about babies, children, imbeciles, and malfunctioning human beings and primitive people in remote areas such as the Amazon jungle, the Outback in Australia etc,etc.
Children are not accountable until they reach the age of accountability...Jesus said : "Suffer the little children and let them come to me, for such is the Kingdom of God."
What that age is, no one knows except God who knows and sees deep into our hearts. The same applies I believe with those that cannot be accountable due to inability to do so.
Other religions believe in their rituals, sacrifices and good works and try to earn salvation.
God says that even your good works are as filthy rags to me. He also said that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. No one is justified by works. It is also is written that anybody who says he has never sinned is a liar and the truth is not in him.
The only way to God is to remove sin because He is holy, righteous and perfect in the absolute.
Nobody can remove sin and that's why Christ had to stand in the place of the whole world's sins and He paid the price of it on the terrible execution on the cross at Calvary. Yeah, He stood in our place and took it on. It is the greatest gift of all...Christ said the greatest love of all is to lay down your life for your friend and most people will agree with this.
But it is a gift and not a right, just a huge gift.
A gift does not automatically become yours until you accept it. Neither is it forced on you. Either you accept it or reject it.
Self-righteous people take pride in their good works and are under the delusion that they are good and it will save them.
True believers know they are sinners and it's only God's redeeming work that's the passport. Nothing else. Good works do have their merit in life on earth , of course as what you sow you reap. But they don't help you at all in eternity.
It's a simple message but people don't want it because it means turning away from the wrong things they do. They love their sin and justify it.

Most reasonably intelligent people I know reached a stage in their lives - usually between the ages of about 18 and 21 - when they started questioning the religion they were raised with and realized that they couldn't continue to live their lives believing in Sunday School fairytales that were written by itinerant goatherds thousands of years ago who still believed the earth was flat . . . and so they started thinking for themselves and grew up.
Of course you also get a lot of people - usually less intelligent and more gullible - who never learn to think for themselves, never had the courage or the imagination to break away from the herd and who lean on the crutch of religion for the rest of their lives and remain incapable of original thought.
That's my experience anyway.
