They still have not found the original source of the virus...you know China would have been looking their arses off to find it in order to prove they didn't fuck up. It took them only a few months to find previous viruses.
There is a level 4 facility in the same town that it originated from.
And in the background, the entire world is affected with people losing their basic freedoms, livelihoods and, most importantly, family and friends.
Why is China getting the benefit of the doubt? Imagine if this virus came from Iran, North Korea or Russia?
Perhaps they'll find some obscure colony of bats that carries the virus. But it's also possible that they discover the origins to be a lab. Considering the gravity of what has occurred, it seems absurd to block any investigation into what the hell this is. If not allowing weapons inspectors access was an act of war then, right now , blocking the WHO should be considered to be a similar act.
It took medical science over 100 years to discover the the Anopheles Female Mosquito bite was the cause of Malaria. Incidentally Malaria is still the biggest killer in tropical Africa.
Hopefully it does not take that long to find the root cause of Covid 19 virus

Let’s be honest Trump’s regime and Australia were the only two governments that tried to hold China accountable. The establishment for venal reasons sabotaged the American effort and Australia was heavily punished by the communists.

China needs to face action over this, the rest of the world needs to get together and punish them accordingly.

China produces everything and they don't want the WHO getting the patent on this virus.
I believe WHO now have entry into the country.
So far there is zero credible evidence that China manufactured the virus, all evidence so far indicates it occurred naturally/accidentally, and there is also zero credible evidence that China deliberately allowed it to spread outside its borders.
What seems almost certain is that Chinese government did try to cover up/downplay/suppress the existence of the virus for a couple of weeks with the aim of protecting the regime and China's international standing and this may have hindered containment of the virus and and opportunity to stop the virus from spreading outside of China was potentially lost (it still may have spread abroad had they done everything right)
So while the CCP should rightly be criticized and sanctioned for potential lax enforcement of health measure that lead to the creation of the virus, the attempted cover up as well as their recent delay in letting WHO back into the country, the sanctions should be proportion to the fact that China likely didn't deliberately intend for this to happen.
Hopefully the significant reputational damage China has already incurred will ensure they put measures in place to prevent future pandemics from starting within their borders.
You may not like to hear this but China is a major power, probably a decade or so off becoming the worlds biggest economy, its also a nuclear power. Military conflict is out, no one will win. A major trade embargo/trade war with China is the last thing the world needs in the midst of a pandemic which is crippling economies around the world. Its not going happen, much like when America was shown its war in Iraq was completely unjustified, they are simply too big and powerful to be held to account.
Incidentally its not China's fault that nut cases are coming up with crackpot theories about 5G spreading Covid. Also not sure why people are bringing Atheism into this as well. Its got nothing to do with the pandemic or the Chinese government suppression of religious groups.
Also the evidence to suggest that the Spanish Flu had Chinese origins is far from conclusive. The first reported cases where in the United States.

Spanish Flu was first identified in America, actually. It was called Spanish Flu because of a point where the soldiers from WW1 passed through to go home. It was so contagious, my great grandmother died from it actually.
I am still running through the plagues and yep our friend China is the culprit right from the 14C through to the 19C with three plagues.We have all heard of the Black Death plague 1347 a bubonic plague. that eliminated 30% of Europe flippen staggering.
Alghero in Sardinia learnt to contain their plague in 1582 through the same methods of today.
Why the heck did China let this virus out after infecting the world for at least 700 years.
