If Putin wins his standing and his country will forever be accused of war crimes and everything thing else that could possibly be blamed on his actions.
If Ukraine wins their country and economy which is in ruins at this stage will never recover or ever be as it was.
When grown and educated so called intelligent politicians cannot live up to agreements made/agreed or whatever then peace will never ever be made.
The policy of "My way or the Highway" never ever has worked in any political arena and never will unless you come to an agreement and both sides honor that agreement.

Arthur, the Civil War is 8 years old and started with the murder of civilians in 2014 and overthrow of a democratic elected government and was continuing and would never stop.
It did not start on 22nd February this year. It was a cancer to eliminate primary Russian people and like a physical cancer needed a painful operation.Otherwise it would never be controlled and eliminated.
