I do not like propaganda during wartimes.   The US is known to have problems in speaking the truth about everything and they seems to get ready to wage all-out war in Ukraine themselves - thus far it was a proxy war faught by Ukraine on their behalf.   

Politically the Biden Administration has a unique ability - everything they touched in the USA has turned into shit.   They may regard a war to try and save themselves in 2024.   Th USA has the unique ability to try and save domestic Presidential failures by starting wars - it has happened repeatedly since the Vietnam War.  

The 2024 election is about 18 months away and despite days of propaganda by the fake news agencies is basically in election move already and signs looks increasingly bad for the Democrats,  So a war is becoming more and more a relief measure for them.   Whether Biden would get permission for starting such a war is doubtful - but that can be overcome by lies as wa s the case with the WMD fib provided by Mueller in the Senate.      

Love the way the pro Russian religious types preach about the moral decline and corruption of the West. And then repeatedly refer to Scott Ritter a convicted sex offender for their military analysis.

Leading Bush Iraq policy critic Scott Ritter was reportedly arrested, charged and prosecuted in 2001 as part of a cybersex police sting after he engaged in a sex chat with an underage girl who later turned out to be an undercover cop.

Colony Police in Albany County, where Ritter lives, said that the former U.N. weapons inspector "allegedly had a sexual discussion on the Internet" in June 2001 with the pseudo underager, the New York Daily News said Sunday. But the case was mysteriously sealed and Colony officials declined to release the arrest records. The timing was suspicious too, he was charged and arrested just after he releashed his findings in Iraq and non existent wmd. They offered him a plea bargain, if he confessed his “guilt” which he refused to do, choosing rather to face prison than confess to that he denied.

Ritter had also come under fire late last year for taking $400,000 from a pro-Saddam Iraqi-American businessman to make a movie about Iraq.

While records of Ritter's cybersex prosecution were sealed, The Schenectady Daily Gazette reported on Saturday that Albany District Attorney Paul Clyne fired veteran Assistant District Attorney Cynthia Preiser last week for failing to inform him of the case against Ritter, the News said.

Clyne complained that since Ritter's case was "sensitive," he should have been briefed on the matter.

I've been meaning to ask this for awhile. What happened with those allegations. Was he framed? Did RW do a smear job?

I sort of lost track of the story and just want to know. Just heard a caller on local Pittsburgh talk radio talking about how furious he was at Tweety last year when he and Kay ganged up on Ritter over the WMD's story and how Ritter was ultimately proven correct. Caller said molestation charges were trumped up against Ritter. Got me curious what happened on this.

I admire how Ritter stood up to this administrations lies.

His conviction could be the result of framing by people who don't like dissenters. The fact that his wife didn't leave him in spite of the shame means she knows something we don't. Furthermore, any sex misconduct, real or not, doesn't interfere with his competence in the topic he is called upon to discuss. He is being asked about warfare and weaponry, not sexuality. At any rate, by trying to use a fallacy of authority to discredit his arguments in regards to the war in Ukraine, you are showing your own shortcomings: maybe your gun doesn't shoot anymore while his still hits the target. Or maybe you are projecting on him the very same inclination you secretly hate in yourself. Be as it may, there are higher-priority targets out there: deal with sniffy Biden and Hunter's laptop first. Then you can go after people actually telling the truth.

According to the report, people are outraged that their relatives were deceived and sent to Artyomovsk where they are stationed without weapons and officers. The servicemen are suffering large losses and receiving threats from the headquarters. The rally brought together the wives and mothers of the fighters of the 228th battalion of the 127th brigade of territorial defense.

"We want to stand up for the rights of our husbands, brothers, sons. We will be doing something. We will be pushing, going to the prosecutors and the headquarters," the news medium is quoting one of the rally’s participants as saying.

Strana has also published a video where a sister of a serviceman that was killed in Artyomovsk is talking about the situation of the troops.

"They were brought there by deceit. They were going to one destination but they came to another. They are not refusing to do their duty but with what? With knives against tanks? There are no battle-hardened officers and equipment. There are no officers that would go with them to the battle. All officers are sitting at the headquarters and just giving out orders. The guys are getting threats of imprisonment, all kinds of them. They are being morally exhausted. They guys are exhausted. Our guys are going to the slaughter. They are simply being annihilated," the woman told the news outlet.

She added that her brother died because he wasn’t evacuated after suffering a wound, although his fellow servicemen immediately sought help.

The news outlet reported that the fighters of the unit recorded an appeal a day before where they expressed no confidence in their commanders. They said their battalion was set up to be "discarded and annihilated" by criminal orders, was sent to Artyomovsk by deceit and without due training, weapons and communications. They also reported multiple cases of extortion and recording more personnel on the books than there really is, listing 100 people in a company while in fact, there are only 20-30 people.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the private military company Wagner, said overnight into April 3 that a flag of Russia had been raised over the city administration building in Artyomovsk. He said the city is under Russian control in legal terms. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said earlier that in the event that Kiev suffered a defeat in Artyomovsk, the West and his own people would put pressure on him to seek a compromise with Russia. He said ceding Artyomovsk would be more like a costly political defeat for Kiev than a tactical defeat.
