Study of the videos posted about yellow vests protests show that many participants are actually not what one can call French Whites - many or obviously from Muslim and Black communities in France and especially in Paris and  Marseilles.

In the USA the younger African Americans apparently feels their future well-being is being threatened by new emigres from especially Latin America states,   More than 3 million people have fled from Venezuela to other countries in the Americas as a result of starvation and oppression.   What if even half of those turn up in the USA as real sufferers looking for asylum?

Russia has closed its borders to refugees and is involved in Syria because so many of the ISIS fighters originated from Chezniah and other Muslim communities in Russia itself.   There are regular sabotage activities in the country and the locals are fighting back.

In South Africa there are constant attacks by the locals on the more or less 8 million foreigners from African countries who fled to SA - more or less 3 million from Zimbabwe alone.   The foreigners in SA has a vast impact on the poor SA citizens and take away their jobs, housing and their medical facilities.

What is in fact happening?   The yellow vests are advertised by some on this site as being the result of right wing extremism only.   The above actually can be spread to other countries not mentioned above,   In reality the movement is not really resistance against governments based on any particular grouping politically and in most countries mentioned protest participation is not politically inspired by any political party or group.

I think that the problem is that the ordinary citizens of countries - irrespective of political affiliation or race - actually feel threatened by the influx or potential influx of millions of people from other countries and is acting to protect hat they regard as their livelihoods and own interests.    They feel that their job security and safety is threatened by new emigres and the open border policies of their Governments,    In cases where Governments are openly opposed to the open borders philosophy - eg Hungary, Italy and Poland - there is no evidence of protests by the ordinary people based on the yellow vests concept.

In France where the movement originated - the established political parties were destroyed and people voted for Macron in the hope that he would change things.   When it became clear he could not be trusted serious unrest started and according to opinion polls 64% of all French voters in fact support the movement.   Macron tried to make changes an his personal support wet from 24 to 28% - while the yellow vest supporters dropped from 68 to 64% - but what he is trying is not working and the country seems to be in flux politically - what is happening in the other countries?
