There is no way Russia wants to incorporate Ukraine into Russia - they are trying to ensure protection of the Russian Speaking residents in area where there are more Russians than Ukrainians residents.    The fact is the Ukrainians after the coup in 2014 continued with a civil war  despite the Minsk accord and in the process over  18 000  people died.  Of those 80% of the deaths were Russian speaking civilians and the rest soldiers.   Russian speaking people got fined w hen they speak Russian in public and Russian was banned  in schools - why Russian speaking members of Parliament were arrested and all opposition parties were banned - all indicated a situations where the oppression of Russian residents were total and continued attacks on civilians was a fact of life, while reporting of it in the EU and USA media was never undertaken.    .   

I've never seen such an embarrassing spectacle...of approximately a country of 350 million people they chose this as a leader and they say the world is sane ??

The difference is Biden is constrained by institutions, critical evaluation, processes, laws and the rights of the States. Not perfectly, but the constraints are real. Putin is virtually unconstrained.

It astounds me that many on here think Biden sits in the oval office making policy and dictating the course of the nation.

You do know that most leaders are more figure heads (trump included, as if that fool has the brain power to run a country let alone a toilet block.

The difference with putin is he has none of the constraints placed on western leaders. He obviously  can dictate whatever he wants and no one can object without disappearing to a gulag or getting murdered.

When will we learn that war is not the answer

Nobody of sane mind enjoys war, conflict and suffering, period.

But conflicts come when terms are breached and ignored, conflicts come too when there is no understanding, no respect or reasonableness, fairness too. Conflicts come when motives and agendas are hidden in darkness and no trust. Conflicts come from lack of true discernment and blindness and lack of understanding or knowledge of history and traditions.

We are all different and have different insights and values.

The major problem in all these things lie deep-rooted in all human beings, every single one of us, we all guilty to a lesser or greater degree. We don't own up and come clean, we hang on to bitterness, hatred, the wrong type of pride (self centred), we are hypocrites every one of us.

There is NOT a perfect man or woman, we are are all guilty of sin before a perfect God, we all fail to pass. That's precisely what is the real deep-rooted problem. There is only one solution and that is genuine repentance of our sins (turning away from what we know is wrong) and have the courage, honesty and humility to recognise it, own up before a God who readily forgives us, when He became flesh and died in our place (and the whole world's iniquities) at the cross at Golgotha. This is God's gift of salvation, but like all gift's it only only becomes ours if we accept it. there are always choices in life, free choice, we have them, no God never forces you to believe...it's your choice. To die without God's freely given grace is to spend eternity without Him...no that's not tripe or a fairy tale...it makes just good common sense.

The war is bad, but it did NOT start in February this year...it has been going on for 8 years and would have continued and continued until the ROOT cause has been erased.

Lets put this straight - I do not support  actions by Putin - he is the  Russian leader though and not a dictator in the normal sense of he word.   He has constitutional restraints - but I do not like the Russian Parliament giving him an exception from the two term maximum he can serve.  Putin is not a lunatic - neither is he an idiot.

I despise Biden - he pretended to be a democratically-minded President - but in the process he is desperate to destroy Democracy in the USA.    He has been issuing strings of mandates and the Democratically controlled House supports him all out - while two members of he Senate does not support his lunatic and dementia-ridden idiocies.    Fact is that everything the Biden Administration touched has turned into shit.     He has done more damage as a front for the lunatics actually ruining  the country - he is not even allowed to answer questions in public.   The latest example  was when the Eater Bunny told him not to answer questions - since when he does he creates chaos.   

As Mozart said - there are constraints in the USA - but that is outside of the Democratic Party.    The Supreme Court  and other courts have ruled against many of his mandates - but his puppet-masters  tend to ignore rulings and tries to get around them.    The objective now is to pack the Supreme Court with Democrat judges to ensure whatever the lunatics ruining the USA  would decide would  not  be restrained by  the US Constitution - thus destroying the Constitution  itself and consequently human rights of US citizens.   .
