Almost all of the largest cities in the United States are governed by hard-left Democrats.  In fact, there is only one Republican mayor among the top 15 cities in the country and only three among the 30 largest cities.

All of the problems in our urban areas today are almost exclusively the result of the failed Democratic Party leadership.  While previous generations of Democrats might have tried to find bipartisan solutions to longstanding problems, the party's leaders in 2021 are woke leftists interested only in pushing their radical agenda.

The result has been outmigration, soaring crime rates, a drug epidemic, broken families, failing public schools, an increasing number of blighted properties, high poverty and unemployment rates, an obsession with a race-based agenda, and rising antipathy toward law enforcement officers.  No wonder people are fleeing our cities in hopes of finding safety and a better quality of life.

Recent headlines show the absolute, ongoing destruction.  In New Orleans, there was another shooting early Saturday morning on Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter, the city's premier tourist destination.  In this case, five people were shot.  Sadly, this type of carnage is becoming a regular occurrence in the Crescent City.  New Orleans is suffering from a shortage of police officers and an abundance of criminals.

In Philadelphia, police department leaders are lamenting a shortage of officers as few new recruits are coming forward to replace the large number of retirements.  Currently, the department is already understaffed, and the problem will only grow worse.

In Los Angeles, crime is skyrocketing while George Gascon, the new woke district attorney, is pledging to dismantle his office's Hardcore Gang Division.  This decision is baffling to many citizens, as statistics show that gang violence has contributed to approximately 60% of the murders in the first 110 days of the year.

Portland, Oregon has been a cesspool of rioting and looting ever since the death of George Floyd made national headlines last Memorial Day.  Incredibly, it has never stopped.  Last weekend, stores were set ablaze and burglarized.  On Friday, a large mob of anarchists spray-painted storefronts with graffiti, broke windows, and terrorized diners in a restaurant.

After the latest incidents, the far-left mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler, asked citizens to "call the police" if they see protesters "dressed in all black."  It is much too little, much too late for Wheeler, who has been punched and ridiculed by Antifa-affiliated thugs.  He has not been able to enjoy a meal in a restaurant or even live peacefully at his home.  Protesters, dressed in black, staged a sit-in at Wheeler's condo building and even hurled "bags of rubbish" and other objects at him as he was walking down the street.

The chaos is also continuing in Seattle, the epicenter of Antifa-related violence.  In this city, the far left created an autonomous zone, attacked a police precinct headquarters, and basically declared war on law abiding citizens.  The craziness never stopped due to incompetent and fearful leadership.

This week, Motion Church, based just south of Seattle, was forced to cancel a speech by Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA.  After the speech was announced, a Seattle Antifa organization threatened to destroy the church.

This threat forced the church's Pastor, Roger Archer, to make his decision.  According to Archer, "cops don't have the manpower to protect the several properties used by the church."  He claimed, "The soft targets of churches, the elderly, women, children, and law-abiding citizens are vulnerable to anarchists who live free of the fear of reprisal."

Archer also correctly noted, "What recent history has taught us is there's an apparent lack of interest at the state level of leadership to protect decent, taxpaying citizens.  Those terrorist mobs know that there is no consequence for their lawlessness.  They have nothing to lose and nothing to fear."

Archer is right: while the FBI and Department of Justice are busy arresting and prosecuting all the individuals who entered the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, there have been few, if any, repercussions for those involved in approximately 275 riots that have occurred in Seattle and other cities across the country since last summer.

Americans can thank the woke mayors and the woke Department of Justice for contributing to the anarchy and destruction on the streets of America's cities.

This is especially true in New York City, led by hopelessly left-wing Mayor Bill de Blasio.  During his tenure, New York is being decimated by not only the pandemic, but also rising crime.  In 2020, shootings increased by almost 100%, while murders increased by 44%.

One factor in this increase is that New York police officers do not feel any support from the mayor.  There have been multiple incidents, many captured on video, of police officers being viciously attacked by criminals, who face almost no penalties for their actions.

It is no surprise that in 2020, an astounding 5,300 police officers retired or quit.  This is a 75% increase from 2019.  As more police officers leave, the crime rate will continue to rise, and taxpayers and business will continue to flee.  In response, Mayor de Blasio has continued to pander to the far left and failed to address the concerns of police and terrified citizens.

In Minneapolis, weak, woke leftist Mayor Jacob Frey has turned over his city to protesters demanding "justice for George Floyd."  However, the no-go zone created near the intersection where Floyd died has seen an enormous reduction in customers, mostly hurting local black American business-owners.

One area restaurant proprietor, Alexander W., told the New York Post that city leaders "left me in danger."  He said, "They locked us up ... left us behind ... left me with no food, no water, nothing to eat."

Hopefully, the citizens in these woke hellholes will eventually realize that the best way to improve their plight will be to stop voting for Democratic Party politicians, who deliver only poverty; misery; violence; and, ultimately, failure

The reason cities are actually cities is because they are Democratic.
The rural American red-neck is incapable of progressing past a one-horse town mentality.

Why are you so bloody stupid - rural areas provide the cities with food and without them the cities would starve.   Fact is there are more intelligent people in rural areas than the brainwashed  idiots in cities  - of which you are doubtlessly one.

Why don't you move to one of the crime-ridden cities in the USA - where the Democrats want to cause a breakdown of law and order and based on that to instill a police state in the USA.

The fact is that the Democrat Communists have taken over and Biden is just  fucked-up idiot nd sign everything put before him.     Watch when the country start raising taxes for all Americans and  the high tax rate is past on to the workers - that could be fatal for the country,

China Joe and his Chinese masters are fucking up royally insofar as the USA  is concerned.   He would soon need Chinese troops to restore order in the USA.

Cities create the demand for food. Without cities, rural areas would be even less developed than they are. The majority of people live in cities, which create livelihoods for everyone.
By the way, when you quote examples- can you use examples from other countries.
Not just the redneck working class in America.

Are you nuts or something,  The  demand  for food is worthless if farmers does not produce he food,   Livelihoods  for everyone - especially the hundreds of thousand people living on sidewalks or city parks in the USA  alone New York Los  Angeles and San Francisco  leads the rest of the cities iro that.   Or are these people things or not people?

This topic is about the USA  where the situation is reaching breaking  point incompetence an d   corruption in the USA - you may have a point/    However - if some other first world countries has reached the same disgraceful level of non\delivery of services  they  should be condemned as ell.

Why are people  leaving  cities at a rate of tens of thousands  every month  if  the conditions are so good?

Technology developed in cities -  like engines used for farming equipment allows farms to produce more food faster. The money and most of the brains are in cities.

Yes and the uneducated masses are in the cities too. The poor who wants handouts for survival. Serious crime as well...

Your idea of rural red-necks is laughable...farming is more scientific than selling pop-ups...

Draad and Plum

Please be patient - the idiot knows fuckall  about everything sio we must rather pity him.

The Blacks and the Latinos are the bulk of the DP support in the USA.   The Blacks voted 80% for China Joe  as against 20% for Trump in 2020 - in 2016 the figures were 94% for Clinton and 6% for Trump.    In 2016 72%  of the Latino's  voted for  Clinton and 28% for Trump.   In 2020 the figures were 60% for China Joe  and  40%.

The problem is that  voter audits is underway in some states and what came out in the one state where it was completed there was  near to 10% fraud element uncovered - there were 6332 vies which could not be identified and those were fraudulent out of  just over 72 000 casted,  That makes any real reliance on voting in 2020 very unreliable.

In Michigan initial studies in 9 of the counties the number reflected in the results were circa 54 000 higher than the actual number of votes casted.   Aside from that there were  over 72 000 unidentified votes in the 9 counties which were fraudulent.   The supposed system to verify mailed in votes was that the envelopes should bear the signature of the voter which is then used to verify that it is indeed a valid vote,  but in the case of the fraudulent votes mentioned by me there were NO envelopes in existence,    It is easy to commit fraud in such cases by stuffing ballot boxes with fraudulent votes.    It will take near to a year fir audits to be finalized and charges laid as to election fraud.

Notice how DumbMike cant provide any sources of his information...
All the judges across all the States threw Trump's allegations out of court very quickly- that was the reality. Dominion Software the poster child of Trumpanzee allegations, is no longer the reason the Trunmpanzees lost the election. They are in the process legal proceedings against the Trump team.

When DumbMike speaks about other races, like Latinos and blacks - it is clear he is part of the Alt-right. Somehow Oui Maaik believes the white working class should be doing better of than other races. That is despite many of these people being much smarter than Oui Maaik.
No doubt CleverWanker would have stormed the Capitol and been involved in protests along with the other rednecks.

I am not the racist on site - just give facts about  how the USA  reports on elections.    If you talk about racism  look no further than CNN and yourself.

I did not write tripe on site and when exposed tried to divert attention away from what was  discussed,

.farming is more scientific than selling pop-ups...Indeed Draad.

Farmers are the salt of the earth people...just shows how ignorant city slickers and town farts are of the cream of society.

Farmers are very decent and caring people...we had 2 punctures on a remote district road from Barkly East to Rhodes in the North Eastern Cape Highlands with no cellphone reception...the first truck with an old farmer in it stopped took both wheels into Barkly East, 70 klms away to get fixed, dropped us off at his farm, told us to wait there and help ourselves to anything we needed to snack on or drink.

He came back with both tyres fixed, refused payment for diesel (as he said he had to go in anyway) .

His name was Piet Steyn (a relative of the rugby Springbok who was born in Aliwal North).

No where on earth do you get people like this in cities anymore...my wife being foreign was so overtaken by his kindness. What an ambassador for SA Afrikaaners.

I live in Natal and my mothers side of the family are farmers in the Drakensberg, Midlands area.

They are descendants of Scots stock (1820 Settlers) and they are very similar.

I'm sure the USA farming stock have similar tendencies too.

They are extremely hardworking deep thinking, innovative, tough, honest and strong people...I love these people.

If we all were like this we would not have any problems in the world.

Haha Seb.

I go through that area often.

On one trip we were travelling between Barkley East and Alliwal.

For some reason we kept getting punctures on the trailer tyres. Probably did about 4 leak fixes.

Then we were at the point where one tyre wouldn't fix and we had to keep pumping it every 50kms.

I remember that just before we got to Alliwal, I checked the tyre in my side mirror and it was ok, but would need pumping soon.

Then we pull into a garage at Alliwal and the one petrol jockey comes running to the car.

"Your wheel! Your wheel," he says.

"I know, we must pump it," I reply.

"Aikona, there's no wheel, bra!"

Somehow in the space of the last few kms before Alliwal, the trye had gone totally and been shredded completely off the rim, with the rim being entirely flattened.

To be honest, I like to smoke a zol when driving far so perhaps we had been dragging the trailer on its rim for longer than I thought.

Haha "Theres no wheel!"

Still laugh when I think about it.

That's funny Plum...those roads can be devastating on tyres ...the road from Barkly to Rhodes especially in summer rainfall...real 4X4 country and city folk often fall victim to them, the farmers however know how to drive on them.

But's it's extremely scenic and wild...there's virtually no crime there, especially Rhodes. One constable only. Rhodes is a must see if you have not been there. The nicest country pub and hotel hide-away (Walkabouts) run by Dave Walker...a character of note...with  the sharpest dry humour I've ever come across. At times it's filled with travelers from all over the world, fly fishermen and fly fisherwomen, skiers, mountaineers, 4X4 fanatics and just loner travelers from every corner of the world. Other times it's dead quite and you can walk around the town in 20 minutes. It has not changed since Cecil Rhodes once lived there.

Once you have been there you will always want to return. It's a deep kept secret (I'm breaking the code)...they don't advertise and "no pop ups"

Correction, that's not entirely true, they do but they don't shout it from the rooftops, there is a tendency to speak about it in"hushed" tones if you understand what I mean.

Thanks, Seb.

I'll be in that area over the next few months so will defos have a gander.

Must say, we drive into the wildest parts of the EC and have never needed more than a diff-lock to get through the area.

The worst is muddy construction sites that are recently excavated. That fresh soil, when soaked is just impossible to get through. Once out of site and on the dirt roads, then all is sharps again.

I can tell you some funny stories about camping in rural Transkei, negotiating with Chiefs and having to bribe fire department officers with cattle just to get them to site. Pity that Mthatha, Lusikisiki, Mt Ayliff, etc are so bloody dangerous because, as you say, the natural beauty there is virtually unsurpassed.

There are plenty of sources I used - not only CNN and the fake news,  Insofar as the elections are concerned  just google the election results in 2016 and 2019/     In  Florida  which CNN was pretended to be marginal in 2016 and was won by Trump by circa 140 000 votes -  and were won by him by a much wider basis. in 2020.    There was a shift away from the Democrats amongst  both the Blacks and the  Latinos. in 2020/

As to voter fraud google  the completed  audit om a county in Montana and what was found there,  What happened to the envelopes signed by voters for identifying purposes?    They were thrown away or never existed  - which can only be accepted as voter fraud .

There is a more comprehensive  audit   being undertaken in Arizona and the Dencoirats and Dominion  is fighting oi all the way,   Why?'    What are they afraid of would be exposed?

The voter count in Michigan was an initial .survey looking at the votes cast in toital number declared ion the results, as well as the checking of envelopes and there were 72 000 envelopes missing.    You can also google that.

What so your IQ dumbo  - when mine was checked years ago it as 130.   Anyway, I have a brain and not shit  on the brain like you making you believe that CNN ever speaks the truth.   As to idiocy -  the Democrat controlled schools produce more idiots than any rural schools could achieve.
