You used the leftist liar propaganda media as references - the lies in their case have been proved.  So you are worse than anybody else you could possibly criticize - mentally the dregs of society.

The article actually agrees with my views on the subject.

Yanks trying to prevent the Chinese ruling the mobile industry, simple as that. The problem is, can they?

I've been Huawei fan since they arrived in this country, excellent brand. Now they have moved into smart mining with AI intelligence assist.

The yanks are fast asleep and battle too produce chipsets economically themselves.

I don't like how America seems to be preventing global competition - like blocking Huawei, Telcoms or soon TikTok as well. Although having the CCP spy on you is also a concern.

With America being more authoritarian, it is also a concern that they could spy on other countries in the future as well.

The US blocked those because of spy tech built into them. I trust China lot less than i trust the US. Maybe it’s be a different story if i was Asian or a Muslim. China blocks US products for the same reason. All the major US tech platform’s date is accessible RE the Snowden leaks. But i doubt the US will be looking to catch up with anyone. They’ve been in the distant lead for ages and are again at the forefront of the next era of technology…that being AI, Crypto and Web 3. And that’s before we talk about hardware, where they are also in the lead with satellite internet, space travel, almost all avenues of computing hardware and their automotive industry is leading the electric car race as well. I wouldn’t bet against the USA and it’s 1st world allies for at least the next 50 years. China on the other hand has some major issues under the hood. The Yanks are sitting pretty and, despite what some may think, they’re not resting on any laurels.

If one looks  at the Chinese advancement in space travel then one can understand what they have overcome there they will overcome in the mobile industry.

The USA put up the Wolf agreement which forbade equipment being traded with China. The Chinese are now launching an international space station.

China also has plans to launch multiple missions to Mars and nearby comets and asteroids with the goal of bringing samples back to Earth. And perhaps most notably, China has announced plans to build a joint Moon base with Russia.

Let's see who is gonna own the moon first.

China could perhaps overtake the US. But it would have to make fundamental changes to so many things about how the country works for that to occur. I don’t know if you have ever done business with the Yanks, Rover. One thing i can tell you is that their work ethic matches their ingenuity and their professionalism is simply on another level. Look, i’m the first to call out some of the mistakes that i think the US have made and are making but the bottom line is, they’re on a completely other level to anyone else. I can see how people consider them to be arrogant. But as AB De Villiers once said “I’ll never be the best until I act like I’m the best and once I am the best, then I’m not going to act like i’m second best.” All that being said, I’d love for the Chinese to get rid of their commie ways so that their minds can be fully free because they’re historically great innovators and humanity needs the very intelligent Chinese population. Their political system turned the worlds best inventors into copy cats and it’s a crying shame as far as i’m concerned.

Kinda weird

Qualcom, USA supplied Huawei with chips.

Then they banned Huawei under Trump and Biden out of fear and so doing put their own Qualcom into a slump.

Honor another mobile company from China which branched off from Huawei and launched two new phones today in competition with Apple and Samsung.

To be honest, i think the Chinese were just trying to catch up to the spying the US was already doing. But the Americans have first mover advantage so them banning Chinese products hurts the US a little but the Chinese a lot more. I’d don’t have much bad to say about the Chinese other than that I think they’re probably involved with what is going on with the crisis in SA. It’s certainly the case that in SA there’s a correlation with deeper Chinese involvement and the decline of the country. I think it’s more likely for one to be on the losing end of a parasitic relationship when you are dealing with a place where all business are also arms of a State that is accountable only to itself. You could argue that all countries excuse their actions under national interest but the Chinese are extremists when it comes to that. In the West there is a much larger sense of accountability to one’s international counterparts. …all this is to say that I know the Yanks are spying but, all things being equal, they’re the lesser of two evils by some distance. If the Chinese launch better products then cool. They just have to make sure that their spyware is next level because else Playstore and others will ban them and they won’t be able to compete. So let’s hope they focus on making better products rather than spying on us haha
