Eventually the truth came out and they had to confess. But indeed with more media bullshit..."shots were fired but well out of range"
But that is how media misrepresent truth...indeed shots were fired but for a WARNING as you see from the previous Russian video. On top of that the Russian attitude was non-aggressive...they asked the British commander to PLEASE turn to starboard but they still pushed their luck.
Big difference in context.

The British perspective but it's bull dust...the West must realise that Crimea has always been Russian, in fact during the WW2, the big 3 Churchill, Stalin and Roosevelt met at Yalta. Some Crimeanians might well want their independence but official referendum showed vast majority of citizens want to be part of Russian Federation. What people don't understand is Ukraine was part of USSR...Nikita Krushchev, Gorbachev and Yeltsin made some confusing and illegal "arrangements". Krushchev (Republic of USSR) and Yeltsin illegally gave away the Crimea to Ukraine. Nobody asked citizens of Crimea what they wanted...there are a huge majority of Crimea that are Russians, 100% speak Russian and support Putin. USA interfered with Ukraine. Russians regard Ukranians as low-lives and thugs in a wider context.
The West fears Russia, unnecessary so...Russia has no intention outside it's borders but they don't want to join the "world Party of Globalisation"...and they say leave us alone but the west continues to piss them off with "borders and human rights"
Their attitude is just piss off and get your own houses in order first, hypocrite s and we'll respect you when you do that.
A very normal and balanced attitude. They've been through the mill of extreme socialism and suffered and don't ever want to go there again.
